WEEK 2

[It's been one week on the Gigantic
and it's clear that Zero
is a big dickzzzzzsht



A week has passed. However, there is no denying anymore that the power Zero possesses is very real. One person is already dead because of this, regardless of what, exactly, the Gimme's role in it was.

There is also no denying that the ship is somehow powered by blood, if not made of blood entirely. Why? How? And what do the clues uncovered in the previous week have to do with it?

The watches, meanwhile have not changed in any way. Everyone is still in their color groups. The doors to the next floor are still locked as well. Perhaps those are also murder dependent. Which is...also not good. But at least there's food and laundry down here, so...maybe it'll get boring eventually, but for now, infinite confinement on the bottom decks of the ship may not be so bad. right?

I've met a lot of devils like that, too. Ones that only care about coming out on top, with no sense of honor or pride.

Makes me glad whenever I encounter fellow warriors. Fighting cowards just gets annoying.

I doubt ones like that will last too long, I imagine.

[ Roland laughed and nodded without really missing a beat. ]

Absolutely! I much prefer the ones who actually try and make an effort, as those are the much more enjoyable fights!

Yeah, they count so much on their dirty tricks that they can't handle someone who can see through them. Where's the satisfaction in winning a fight that's a foregone conclusion from the start?

There isn't any. Those fights that are entirely too predictable in nature are hardly worth the effort.

[ Another nod of his head followed, along with quite the pleased look. ]

[His own smile shows how much he appreciates talking to someone who gets it.]

And sure, sometimes you've gotta deal with someone like that anyway, 'cause they're being a nuisance and not going to listen to anything but force, but that's a chore. And, honestly, embarrassing just to be around.
