Case 1 Afterparty

[That had been a lot. That trial had been a lot. But while Akane half feels like she's dreaming, or like she's waking from a nightmare, and though her head hurts from crying, she had made a promise. A part of her takes refuge in that, as though it were a life ring tossed to a drowning man.

Consequently she has retraced her steps, returned to the kitchen that she'd gone to this morning, and is making soup.

Everyone else who is trapped on this ship are free to disseminate as they will, to pursue their own interests or to grieve, but soon enough after anyone who comes into the dining hall or kitchen (and especially you, Hubert, she is finding you and dragging you in if you will not willingly submit) is going to be offered a bowl of soup.

Everybody feel free to join in on the soup party or else set up your own scenarios, I'm not your mom.]

[Akane is by no means a master artist, but she's got a good eye, a good memory, and a good hand, and after a few minutes has produced a fairly passable sketch of one of the kyuubeys.]

At the end there were... several of them seemed to try to move to the stage and died.

They were white, and their eyes were red, and they...glowed, like... like the thing on the stage.

[Their eyes glowed, she means, though she's distracted enough not to realize that might be ambiguous.]

I don't think I could tell you more than that, but... do you think someone might know something about them?

Perhaps... though if they mindlessly moved towards their deaths I can't expect they are very intelligent. Like scavangers circling a meal...

I guess that could be, but I don't think that's really the case.

These creatures... I think they were in every seat. Only a few of them tried to move. It seemed like they couldn't help themselves, but most of them just... watched.

Watched. So likely they are our enemies. Or not allies at least.
