WEEK 3

WEEK 3

[The week begins as last week began. But there's is a great difference-murder. It has happened. Blood has been drawn; it cannot be undone. The Game has made itself known. The Game is paramount. The Game simply is.

As morning dawns, those who were not present with the DEAD lock will find that the doors that were locked are now gone-and a whole new area has finally opened up to them. They will also find that they remember something they had not been able to recall beforehand. The question is, was it worth it?

And-is it you, or is the ship getting...colder as the hours go by? No, it's not just you. By the end of Sunday, the ship has started to dip into freezing temperatures. It might be difficult for people to bundle up-unless you're Brain, who will find his closet inundated with winter clothing that fit him perfectly.

Yup. This is going to be a long week, as if last week wasn't bad enough.

... so it wasn't just me then.

[HEY HUBERT ABOUT TIME YOU SHOWED UP]

I had a similar experience recently- Aoi can confirm it. Though it was not in a school. The other details line up regardless. Including Zero.
superstylishsquid: (That's just painful.)

[personal profile] superstylishsquid 2023-06-25 06:57 pm (UTC)(link)
I saw Delta in mine, too. Where did yours seem to be?
pegasinister: (12)

[personal profile] pegasinister 2023-06-25 07:13 pm (UTC)(link)
A city. Someone there called it a 'city of love'? The name 'Paris' was in the memories I was in, but I can't be sure if that was what it was called.
superstylishsquid: (Sorry but you're not funny.)

[personal profile] superstylishsquid 2023-06-25 07:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Paris does have that reputation. It's...also a major human settlement, densely populated. Were...

Did you see anything that looked like dark gray statues of people? The color of ashes.

[personal profile] pegasinister 2023-06-25 07:22 pm (UTC)(link)
[He shakes his head]

The flashes of memory focused more on the people in the group. The locations were... blurry.

As was a certain man I am sure I know... but other than his eyes it is completely missing.

[personal profile] lovedthemost 2023-06-25 07:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Someone you know might've been part of it? [hm?]
pegasinister: (20)

[personal profile] pegasinister 2023-06-25 07:43 pm (UTC)(link)
That was the feeling I had, yes. But I can't say if it was from home, here or some memory I'm missing.
lovedthemost: (04)

[personal profile] lovedthemost 2023-06-25 07:49 pm (UTC)(link)
I see.

[he pauses to consider]

I have to wonder: is the perspective you're seeing this memory of from an observer or from one of the players themselves?
pegasinister: (24)

[personal profile] pegasinister 2023-06-25 07:49 pm (UTC)(link)
One of the players, for sure. I was... a princess of some sort.
lovedthemost: (02)

[personal profile] lovedthemost 2023-06-25 07:59 pm (UTC)(link)
A princess. [not what he would've expected, but considering the makeup of people tthere, it's not that shocking, he supposes.]

And the sense of recognition was from you, not from her.
superstylishsquid: (Can we not talk about it?)

[personal profile] superstylishsquid 2023-06-25 07:52 pm (UTC)(link)
For mine, it was from one of the players. I got flashes of thoughts and emotions...what I saw was the first trial, just like us.
lovedthemost: (04)

[personal profile] lovedthemost 2023-06-25 08:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Interesting. I wonder what it is about those particular people that have made their memories the ones that you have recieved.
superstylishsquid: (That's just painful.)

[personal profile] superstylishsquid 2023-06-25 08:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Well...I didn't get anything identifying about the person I was watching through, but I do know why I saw that particular group.

My old master was one of them. The guy I was hoping would catch wind of this and carve Delta to pieces.
lovedthemost: (14)

[personal profile] lovedthemost 2023-06-25 08:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Your old master? [Brain frowns at that]

So you had someone you knew in there also.
superstylishsquid: (Huh?)

[personal profile] superstylishsquid 2023-06-25 08:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah. He looked...a lot scruffier than I remember, but there was no mistaking him. And it does seem like him to get lazy about shaving.
lovedthemost: (24)

[personal profile] lovedthemost 2023-06-25 08:20 pm (UTC)(link)
So there's also some time passage from when you last remember him to this vision.
superstylishsquid: (Oh yeah...)

[personal profile] superstylishsquid 2023-06-25 08:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, but it's also been a while since I last saw him. Can't say for sure how long, but I think at least a year?
lovedthemost: (29)

[personal profile] lovedthemost 2023-06-25 08:30 pm (UTC)(link)
That is a significant amount of time. A lot can happen in a year.
superstylishsquid: (I don't know what to make of it.)

[personal profile] superstylishsquid 2023-06-25 08:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, and I can't be sure it wasn't even longer. It's...hard to judge time where I've been.

Pardon? Did you say Paris??

[ That got his attention quite aptly. ]

The city of Paris, France is where I call home and has been indeed called a City of Love by many.
somuchshipping: (Playful)

[personal profile] somuchshipping 2023-06-25 07:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Can you tell me more about this city?

[Hermes...]
godspiousjasper: (pic#16472595)

[personal profile] godspiousjasper 2023-06-25 07:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Certainly! It is a vibrant city filled with thriving, bustling people and the budding technology of such incredible things as airships and automatons.

[ It's fine because he is absolutely okay with gushing about the place he calls his home. ]

Many a time you can find people walking down the street together, holding hands and in love! There's such life and spirit to the city, and I truly hope you can see it for yourself someday!
pegasinister: (23)

[personal profile] pegasinister 2023-06-25 07:23 pm (UTC)(link)
The city you are from? That very well may be a clue.

Agreed. Any connections we can find should be considered.

[ He nodded. ]

Ah? I suppose that would be good, wouldn't it?
