WEEK 3



[The week begins as last week began. But there's is a great difference-murder. It has happened. Blood has been drawn; it cannot be undone. The Game has made itself known. The Game is paramount. The Game simply is.

As morning dawns, those who were not present with the DEAD lock will find that the doors that were locked are now gone-and a whole new area has finally opened up to them. They will also find that they remember something they had not been able to recall beforehand. The question is, was it worth it?

And-is it you, or is the ship getting...colder as the hours go by? No, it's not just you. By the end of Sunday, the ship has started to dip into freezing temperatures. It might be difficult for people to bundle up-unless you're Brain, who will find his closet inundated with winter clothing that fit him perfectly.

Yup. This is going to be a long week, as if last week wasn't bad enough.

I think it's a fairly modern term, though there's enough of a gap in my cultural knowledge that I can't be absolutely sure. Mortal languages change fast.

Even so, I don't mind as it means I get to learn even more things about the ever-advancing world.

Just hope you don't end up having to catch up on two-thousand years' worth of said advancement. My first mortal language is so dead, people use it as an expression to say they don't understand something.

Η γλώσσα δεν άλλαξε ποτέ καθόλου στο παιχνίδι μου. Και πάλι, είμαι από ένα αρχείο αποθήκευσης οκτώ μηνών. Στην πραγματικότητα, περισσότερο. Ο Μορς είναι πολύ μεγάλος από εμένα.

Να γιατί. Οι γλώσσες χρειάζονται χρόνια, ακόμη και δεκαετίες, για να αλλάξουν αρκετά για να τις παρατηρήσετε. Οκτώ μήνες το πολύ μπορεί να δουν μερικές ασαφείς λέξεις να αποκτήσουν δημοτικότητα.

Έχω ζήσει για πάνω από εξήντα χιλιάδες χρόνια προσομοίωσης σύμφωνα με το προφίλ μου. Έχω νιώσει εκείνα τα χρόνια, κάθε ένα από αυτά και οι γλώσσες που προγραμματίστηκαν στο παιχνίδι δεν άλλαξαν ποτέ. Θα μου πάρει πολύ χρόνο για να συνηθίσω αυτή την ιδέα. ΣεΠαρακαλώNαMεAντέχεις!

I do not believe that will be a problem...? Though why is it people would use your language as an expression?

Because no one uses it anymore, even the alphabet is considered esoteric.

Not quite as interesting as my native language, but...hard to top a dialect of Enochian for that.

It's the native language of all devils and angels. You didn't think John Dee made it up, did you?

Of course not! There was nothing to prove it was or was not, though at the time it was unheard of for someone to have knowledge of such a language.

Not completely unheard of...but Witches and Sages didn't exactly go around introducing demons and angels to laymen. And that was just among humans, we immortals never lost the tongue...especially since some angels from the dawn of the universe are still kicking around, including the First of the Fallen.

Do you think there's ever truly a chance that I would be perchance lucky enough to get to see a real angel with my own two eyes??

Maybe if you have enough magical potential to learn to see into Purgatorio. Angels don't usually enter the human world fully, so you have to be able to see into the space where the borders of all three worlds blend to spot them.

Though, I guess even if you don't, I might be bribed to enchant some glasses or something so you can see into it anyway.
