[So, that trial sure happened, didn't it? And on nearly empty stomachs, no less. That's why people might catch Alastor headed for the kitchen as soon as they're out of the theater, obviously intent on making food. He's in there a while, actually, and the hallway outside of it smells strongly of some rather tasty food.

What he's up to will become clear when he goes around to tell people to visit the mess hall. There, he's set up a varied buffet on one of the tables, all of various foods easy to serve in small portions. This includes small slices of beef only very lightly seared on the outside, but also more fully cooked fare, and even a few fruit and vegetable dishes. Plus the requisite spread of alcohol, because it sure has been A Day, huh?

...Also, while Hermes obviously doesn't eat, he still gets the instructions to go to the mess hall. Huh.]

[Ah, Ritsu. Ironically, he'd just been discussing here with Alastor... this certainly makes things convenient.

If he's at all bothered by the smell, he doesn't show it. More likely than not, it's that he's more used to the smell of death than anyone should really be... not that he'll say as much out loud.]

I was wondering where you'd disappeared to.

I thought I'd give people who can eat some space to, without the smell. ...It doesn't look like it helped you much, though.

[She sees that untouched plate. Not having any appetite after all of that is understandable, though. Especially with the state Brain was in.]

[It would probably be more convincing if it looked like he'd eaten even a little bit of it, though. Of course, that also means he's basically been drinking on an empty stomach, but. Honestly, after that entire trial, they're all allowed.]

Guess that's what happens when you've hardly eaten for a week.

Oh, right, the stomach shrinks. Still, a few bites should be fine...not that I'd know.

[... yeah, he'd had a feeling he couldn't dodge it forever. He tried, at least-- call him stubborn and totally unused to people expressing concern over him.]

I'm not in any danger of collapsing now, if that's what you're worried about.

That's one thing, yes. And I'm happy about that. But I'm not so entirely practical that that's the only thing, anymore.
