[So, that trial sure happened, didn't it? And on nearly empty stomachs, no less. That's why people might catch Alastor headed for the kitchen as soon as they're out of the theater, obviously intent on making food. He's in there a while, actually, and the hallway outside of it smells strongly of some rather tasty food.

What he's up to will become clear when he goes around to tell people to visit the mess hall. There, he's set up a varied buffet on one of the tables, all of various foods easy to serve in small portions. This includes small slices of beef only very lightly seared on the outside, but also more fully cooked fare, and even a few fruit and vegetable dishes. Plus the requisite spread of alcohol, because it sure has been A Day, huh?

...Also, while Hermes obviously doesn't eat, he still gets the instructions to go to the mess hall. Huh.]

It's a truly obnoxious thing. It did get Aoi-san and I away from the chariot and badger, though.

Well, at least it's not as useless as it sounds it's ugly.

I do have something that might work on the badger, but I don't know how to use it. Never been fond of guns.

A gun of some kind? I might be able to at least tell you how to use it. Considering, you know, guns are kind of my cousins.

It's a shotgun. I've seen one used before, but I've never been interested in them, myself.

Makes things a bit too easy, for a warrior like me.

Oh. Yeah, I could teach you to use that. For when being a warrior is inconvenient.

Distance weapons are probably what we want here.

I normally use thrown blades, but the badger's too fast for that.

Yeah, so a gun with a scatter shot could be really effective. I don't know much about badgers...

Spears may work well, here? Especially anything designed for use against boars.

I got part of a spear from the Gimme. Think I'd have to check the armory for anything like that if I Want it actually functional.

Depending on how much shaft is on it, we might still be able to use it... But yes, otherwise we'll have to brave the bear.

Cubey-san kind of ignores me, though, so I can probably get the weapons safely.
