[Morning, Strangers! There's no sun shining, there're no birds singing, the threat of memory loss hangs in the air, and--oh.




That sure is a trail of blood in the D Deck hallway where the bedrooms are. But. I'm sure it's nothing, right?

[ That is some odd evidence... why would they be torn off like that? He's definitely making a note of that little detail.

Now. With that on his mind, just going to move onto the obvious wounds that's on Zack's poor head. Just how bad is it all? ]

[ You know, the head's not too bad! Compared to the rest of the body, anyway. There are bullet wounds, one in the left temple and one right in the middle of the forehead. ]

[ It seemed a little bit of overkill to go to this extent, wasn't there?

Not hard to guess that these wounds were definitely the ones that were part of what caused his death. Probably very bloody, all the same. ]

[ Blood, so much blood... But maybe not as much as Roland might expect is accounted for in this room.

Zack's body is absolutely littered with bullets. Who could have done this? Where is the gun? Actually, Roland does see it. ]

[ A part of him wants to say it's entirely unneeded to shoot Zack so many times, but if someone was either angry or wanted information they weren't getting?

Shaking his head, Roland blinked when he spotted the gun and reluctantly went to take a closer look at it. How far is it from Zack's body and is it covered in blood or just like it was just dropped into it after things were done? ]

[ Roland doesn't have to go anywhere, because the gun is in Zack's hand. It's clean. ]

[ ...That's... No. NO. He hates ALL of this.

Simply making a guess on this but... do any of the wounds look at all like they could be self inflicted or that someone else had done it? ]

[ A case could probably be made for the one at the temple. The rest, though... Press X to Doubt, given the angles.

But you know what? There's something else Zack's hands are doing that might provide even more of that. ]

[ After giving himself a moment, Roland moved to go and take a closer look at Zack's hands.

What stands out with them? ]

[Well, aside from the gun in Zack's hand, the other hand is pointed down to the floor. The finger is pressed against something written in blood.]

[ O h.

Frowning slightly, Roland made to lean down so he could read what it says. Let's do this. He was ready. ]

It looks like whatever Zack was trying to write after the first three letters devolved into a line as he died.]

[ That made him blink a couple times as he took a good look at it.

Her? Considering it seemed like there would have been more afterwards? He can't just assume it was trying to implicate one of the women and would mean it was more like a name and only... one matched.

Grimacing a little, he's going to try and take in anything else of note before moving onto anything else here. Such as if the writing (even by finger) even remotely resembles what's been seen of Zack's handwriting before.

Mostly to avoid asking it tomorrow. ]

[It does seem to match.

Meanwhile, that seems to be it for the body and it's immediate vicinity.

Let's move on.]

[ Okay! Getting back to his feet, he'll then take a proper look around the room. What'll be the first thing he notices is amiss?? ]

[Well, first things first.

That footprint with the trail tracked in from the hallway. It's...smeared.]

[ Smeared? Like someone... slipped or... just done in a way meant to try and obscure who could have made it?

Either way going to take a better look at it. ]

[It looks like someone dragged their foot in some way.]

[ Hm. This could suggest someone having some kind of leg injury. Making note of this for later. Going to see if there's more of these odd footprints around.. and if not?

Seeing what else he can find here. ]

[Unfortunately, no. Just that one.


It looks like the washing and drying machines are all that's left.]

Going to go take a look at them! It can't be worse than that whole incident he had in his first week here. What's up with the washers and dryers? ]

[ There's stuff still in the washer. It's half done - washed but not dried. ]

[ Grimacing at the old memory that surfaced, he is just going to open the washer, reach in and grab whatever was in there! Not out of kindness.. but...

Like, pink fluid. ]

Pink fluid? As in his hands are going to have some of the pink stuff on it later? Is there actual clothing in here or just this stuff...? ]
