[The place that Zagreus brings them to is an abandoned house. Like the rest of Greece, at first the grass and plants are dead, withered. But only at first.

As everyone files into the garden, it starts to slowly come to life. flowers begin to bloom. Fruits and vegetables start to sprout from the soil. The trees begin to grow once more. Wheat stalks slowly pop up out of the ground. Wherever this is, it's clear that life is returning-and the gods are awakening.

It's probably best that they don't return to the underworld, to the House of Hades-but, if anyone wishes to, Charon has arrived with the dead from the previous rounds-now alive-and little baby Ayame. If anyone wishes to go there-though, why would anyone ever willingly go back to the House, knowing you-know-who is probably awake by now?-they can.

But for those who stay here, there is food and drink, wine and bread, fresh meat and ripe crudités. Talk. Plot. Say your goodbyes before you are SHIFTed back to your homeworlds.

Who knows? Maybe there are still some surprises left to be had. But, either way...it is a good day. The new moon will pass. The sun will rise.

Akane hesitates for a long moment more, but finally reaches out and, gently, perhaps a little hesitantly, touches one of the stakes with a fingertip.]

[The link feels alive, with contact. Almost like a static shock, but less painful.

The communication still isn't words, but the link is so much clearer. A polite greeting, tempered excitement over finally meeting.]

[A little uncertainly, not quite sure if she's being rude to be so, well, up front? about all of this? she still reaches out and cautiously picks the skates up.]

How does this work, between you and I? Have I stolen your power, Odette?

[It doesn't really feel like there's anything being drained from her.]

Or have you replaced something in me? Or is it neither?

[In truth, this would be most preferable.]

[Consideration...and the answer is neither. The skates don't seem to be altogether familiar with this...it's somewhere between bond and contract. There's distaste over the lack of either of them agreeing to this, but she does not hate the result.]

What should we do about this, then? Or should we do anything at all?

I'm afraid I still don't know all of what... t-the power you've given me, I guess, entails. Or what it means that I have it, maybe.

[She's glad to be able to do what she can do, but at the same time... she already has responsibilities. Is this another? Is there some price? There usually seems to be, for power.]
