SING, O GODDESS
[The place that Zagreus brings them to is an abandoned house. Like the rest of Greece, at first the grass and plants are dead, withered. But only at first.
As everyone files into the garden, it starts to slowly come to life. flowers begin to bloom. Fruits and vegetables start to sprout from the soil. The trees begin to grow once more. Wheat stalks slowly pop up out of the ground. Wherever this is, it's clear that life is returning-and the gods are awakening.
It's probably best that they don't return to the underworld, to the House of Hades-but, if anyone wishes to, Charon has arrived with the dead from the previous rounds-now alive-and little baby Ayame. If anyone wishes to go there-though, why would anyone ever willingly go back to the House, knowing you-know-who is probably awake by now?-they can.
But for those who stay here, there is food and drink, wine and bread, fresh meat and ripe crudités. Talk. Plot. Say your goodbyes before you are SHIFTed back to your homeworlds.
Who knows? Maybe there are still some surprises left to be had. But, either way...it is a good day. The new moon will pass. The sun will rise.
The Game-or at least, this variation of it-is over.]
((OoC: And with this, Round 7 is complete! Thank you everyone who participated-we hope you enjoy the aftermath, and stay tuned for the SHIFT Meme and HMD!))

I don't mind it at all. You're not bringing down the mood even slightly.
[ He flashed a smile up at the older man, head canted to the side a little. ]
You have great wisdom and experienced things I've never even known about. I've very much enjoyed the conversations we've had, Moriarty.

[He laughs, steepling his fingers before setting them in his lap comfortably, looking back at someone he is happy he can Call a friend, despite what had happened before.]
Ah - even if we didn't have the chance to speak as much as I'd have liked? Truly, that was something I regret - that even if it was for a noble cause and agreed upon by both of us, I lost the chance to help support and guide the rest of you.
[And...he's finally voicing what the murder really was for, and confirming it was never just a cruel killer and his hapless victim. He'd never intended to really tell the truth, but....Well.
Who else would you confess to, but a man of the cloth?]

What probably helped was that both Moriarty and Kaito seemed to be on amiable terms as well, so it didn't seem like there was anything truly bad between them now. If he considered that they were both likely joining Akane when going back home with her, then it all was for the best overall.
Then... speaking of them? Surprise instantly flashed across his face when the words all sunk in. ]
Ah?! You and Kaito actually both agreed to go through with that? [ Given the layout of things in the casino, it'd seemed like some kind of ambush and that Kaito hadn't been expecting the attack. ] If you don't mind me asking, just what was that noble cause the two of you had agreed upon?
[ Granted he had an idea, but a part of asking was in hoping he'd get to physically hear the older man actually say it aloud. Roland truly was going to miss getting to hear such wise things told to him by someone who was much more long-lived than he himself was. ]
You would have been truly nice to have around in the end. I missed you quite a lot, as did Alastor. [ Just casually outing his boyfriend. Nothing new here. ] Had you been at our sides, I would have given you a noble crystalline title as I did with the others before we left the ship.
