Well, it's mostly a good morning. Those who are waking up in their bedrooms wake up to another boring morning. At least as boring as this place can allow, but even so, everything seems perfectly fine in that wing. Perfectly normal.

[Well, while Kurama's doing that, Akechi will work on removing the wire from around Wake's neck. Assuming the injury there is just the expected electrical burns, he'll move on to take a look at the cuffed wrist. How tight are those cuffs, anyway?]

[It'll take some doing, but yes, the injuries on Wake's neck are primarily electric burns.

Meanwhile, the one cuffed hand is pretty tightly cuffed.]

[So a photo of the electrical burns, then more closely examining the wrist. Do the injuries look like they're from pulling at the cuffs?]

In fact, it's the wrong wrist.]

[Okay, photo taken. Would cutting the wire happen to reveal more electrical burns?]

[Yes. Very pronounced burns, at that. In fact, there's a smell coming from them.]

[A smell of charred flesh, presumably? Are these burns significantly worse than the ones around his neck?]

[That's interesting...is it near anything? Like a portrait of a lighthouse, for example?]

[Not really, actually. It’s looks long enough that it could have been put somewhere, though.]
