THE SECOND TRIAL


[Soon enough, once the final clues have been uncovered, the telltale DING echoes through the Mall. The elevator in the food court has opened once more, and it will not close until all of the remaining Titled have gotten in it. And, as before, a thought comes to them, the realization that they needed to get on the roof, and get to the bottom of this.

Soon enough, everyone is back on the roof, and they will find that their platform arrangement has changed to reflect those who had died since last week. The podiums of Dio, Torri, and Yuuri are each all lowered and covered with white cloths. Otherwise, everyone else's platforms also have food and drinks, just like last week.

It's probably still not much comfort, especially with what everyone knows must happen. They must look at the evidence they have gathered, and once more, they will have to figure out the truth, putting their lives on the line to do so. Hopefully, their luck will hold.

So, get ready.

The trial for the murders of Torri Feiji, The Bliss, and Yuuri Katsuki, The Future, has begun.]

I'm still not used to thinking in terms of being the one with healing abilities...

[Forgive her, she was just the last person to notice that this was a thing that was happening.]

[He manages a smile, though his eyes are still sad. It doesn't stop him from returning the kiss, though, even if his breath is a little shaky.]

...Thank you. I think...I don't have to envy you as much as I used to.

[ His hand gently rests against Goro's face, his expression holding some obvious tension still...

... though there's a soft blink. Then a quiet, gentle sound of amusement. ]

I wouldn't say I'm anything to be jealous over... but I'm glad it's less, at least.

[ ALSO HE SENSES THOSE EYES... and does, in fact, glance over at Joey. A quiet laugh of amusement escapes. Maybe it could be considered strange, but there's something about this entire moment that's reminding him there's some chance to win this... to escape...

... Or maybe it wouldn't be strange; it's people like Joey, over there, who are more than worth fighting for. ]

[She does smile slightly and blush furiously as she focuses on something else to give them privacy, though.]

[He covers Akira's hand with his own, leaning into it.]

[ He catches sight of that blush, and there's a faint smile of his own... until he hears those words.

With a quiet sigh, he leans his forehead against Goro. ]

You wouldn't have become a Persona user in the first place without so much potential inside. With a starter named Robin Hood, at that.

[ A quiet 'heh' as he holds a blink. ]

Anyway, a good leader never abandons a part of his team, no matter what situation they wind up in.

[ He's pulling back to look at Goro, expression shifting into one of firm belief. ]

For the record? You've earned this feeling. I've seen how hard you're working. So... we're gonna get through this. Together.
