[Joey relaxes as best she can to seem less threatening, keeping her hands at her sides and speaking as soothingly as possible. She'd bribe her with a cracker, but somehow that seems unlikely to fit her taste.]

Well... it's put away now, I suppose. But--why is she not with Ren?

[And that is probably for the best since she'll be safe in there. He'll go ahead and give the ball to Ursula since she seems best equipped to care for her if something did happen to Ren.]

[This...does actually cause Yuriko to stop a bit and stare at Ursula. Not in the "omg I can understand that" way but rather in the "excuse me good sir I am not from your country" way.

What's it's name? What kind of call does it usually make, did anyone hear it? If I had this information, I might be able to translate.

Her name is Yuriko and she made a call like this. [And Loewe will try to imitate it, it gets the point across.]

[ She'll clear her throat, and then try saying "ska skarmory skar skar. Skar mory?"

... It's a bit stilted but the point comes across. "We're not here to hurt you. Where's Ren?" Or at least, that is what she is TRYING to say. She's pretty knowledgeable about bird languages and most of them are similar... this can't be too different, right? It's like talking to Alcor, her crow. ]
