[A week has passed. There's been no body, no investigation, no trial. No deaths. Congratulations!

Now the question is, will it last? At the moment, the Commander seems content with forcing people to do petty and mean-spirited errands in return for a mere shower. On the one hand, it's just for showers. On the other hand, what if the demands start to get more extreme? Would caving in encourage her? Is anyone willing to try and find out?

Honesty, with all the strange dates and information floating around from what's been uncovered, the only one in this place who's probably not worried as the time slips into its next movement is Sir Riprazor McRockfang. That's right, he's a sir. A grumpy sir, yes, but still a sir. No one's going to mess with him, regardless of what his true origins may be. And if they do, beware - he bites. Omnom. ... I was young. It's fine. We weren't all that close. But Kazuya... heh. He's one of those people that it's very difficult to dislike in general.

What kind of stuff would you do together? Listen to music?

... Watch TV, help him with his homework, play video games... sometimes we'd listen to music, but not all the time. Our tastes... differed.

... I've... vaguely heard of the first, I think, but not the second.

That feel-good movie about the girl who started a cooking site because she had the same name as her idol. I'm not surprised, it didn't win many awards.

Oh. ... I don't know if that came out in Japan at all, and it wouldn't be the sort of movie I would go hunting for online, anyway.

I can't blame you. My point is, Emily and I are different. So I kinda relate to you and Kazuya.

Hm. ... He always liked things with heroes saving the day. He'd probably pretend he was one of them and find a way to bust out of here.

He still watches this one series he saw as a kid, I've caught him sneaking episodes.

Haha! Well, I can't blame him for trying to hide it. Some people are really judgmental.

I don't always get where people are coming from making such a big deal about "superheroes", though. Police officers, firefighters... they're good enough for me.

... It's because they're too real, and too easily flawed. If you're watching a superhero on TV, you're not worried that... that they're somehow corrupt. It's an escape from reality, a chance to look at higher ideals and attempt to reach them.

Hmmmm, I see what you mean. I daydream a lot, I can't really fault anyone for that. It's just always been a little bit more down to earth for me, easier to imagine that way. Less spaceships, more sportscars, you know?
