WEEK 2
[A week has passed. There's been no body, no investigation, no trial. No deaths. Congratulations!
Now the question is, will it last? At the moment, the Commander seems content with forcing people to do petty and mean-spirited errands in return for a mere shower. On the one hand, it's just for showers. On the other hand, what if the demands start to get more extreme? Would caving in encourage her? Is anyone willing to try and find out?
Honesty, with all the strange dates and information floating around from what's been uncovered, the only one in this place who's probably not worried as the time slips into its next movement is Sir Riprazor McRockfang. That's right, he's a sir. A grumpy sir, yes, but still a sir. No one's going to mess with him, regardless of what his true origins may be. And if they do, beware - he bites. Omnom. Good luck, everyone.
There are fifteen strangers - and one alligator - in this place.]
SUNDAY

And no, it's totally not a figment of your imagination that one of those books is glowing a pale blue color. She's looking at it to make sure otherwise it's not harmed or changed in any way.]
no subject
Excuse me, may I... May I look at that book...?

[She'll carefully slide it over so Nagisa can get a better look.]

[There's also a very large fluffy cat who is sitting on his head as he's working on drawing something. Perhaps more importantly, there's a cougar sitting near his feet, looking at anyone who approaches.]

[She's openly pointing at the headphones. A tray of food is in her other hand as she hustles over to sit right across from him at the table.
That's when she notices the cougar and the smile on her face freezes.]
no subject
[He glances down at the cougar, and then back up.]
The cougar's fine for right now, I think. It's not hungry.

When he notices the cougar at his roommate's feet, however, his steps... almost pause. He blinks a couple of times before resuming his steps, and then stops a few feet away. ]
Soooo... are we opening a zoo together, now?
[ He gestures to what should be familiar to Naoya, at this point, as Akira's familiar. Morgana's currently arching his back and moving so he's behind Akira's feet.
Needless to say, he does not appreciate Big Cat, whoops.
There's a small smile as he looks down at his familiar, and then takes a sip of the coffee in his hand. After a pause, he gestures a tiny bit with the cup, tilting his head a little at Naoya. ]
Apparently, the only way to get decent coffee around here, is to hope it drops out of that machine. [ a beat, and then a small, slightly sheepish grin ] It's, uh... much stronger than what I'm used to, though. I have no idea how long it's going to take me to finish it all.
no subject
[Who the fuck knows in this place. But he perks up a bit at the possibility of good coffee.]
Well, then. If you're offering... it might be a little difficult to brew things properly here, but we can give it a shot.

What is with this place and all of the wild animals?

No idea. But it's amusing, at least.

[She shoves the tapes in her pockets for now as she grabs one of the papers to try reading it.]
Why are you printing all of this?
no subject
[ He attempts stuffing the papers back into the printer, and the printer starts making an alarming noise at this fact. It does not like this move. ]
I fully believe this machine is possessed.
[ The papers really don't make sense. It's all in this font. ]

[This? This was not what he expected. Someone who clearly doesn't know what they're doing. He sighs and walks over to the computer, nudging the nervous Frenchman out of the way if he has to.]

more check-in than meeting!
And, speaking of wearing things? When people arrive, they might notice that Akira is wearing a toga and petting a cat that's wearing a yellow collar.
This time, there are pieces of paper set onto the table, along with pens of various colors, though namely the 'normal' kind (though there's a pink one and some yellow). As he waits for people to settle in, he takes the moment to slowly sip at the coffee that came from the vending machine.
Not the ammonia kind, obviously; it's a kind that he's having to drink very slowly, because it's already giving him a boost, and he isn't even a fourth of the way through the cup...
He will wave to people as they approach, and offer the occasional smile and nod to go with the gesture. ]
AND A SUGGESTION
It might be a good idea to keep everything limited to one or two pieces of paper, so is everyone okay with starting clockwise and working our way around the room?
[ And he'll start by writing at the top:
"- For those of you who didn't hear about it at the last meeting, there was a spy in our group in the mall. They messed with the evidence of every crime scene and listened in on every meeting.
- They're able to store live animals in the machine that spits out 'rewards' ... but how are these things kept alive, and how were they fit inside that thing?"
And... then he proceeds to casually pass the paper to the next person, his expression calm and casual as he makes a point of watching each person's face when it gets to them. ]
(( OOC: so basically you guys are welcome to comment here with what, if anything, they contributed to The List! ))

lo and behold, he does come back with the same piece of paper he posted up on the door to the computer room on saturday. he uses the tape to re-stick the note on to whatever's being passed around. ]

Going to figure a spy would know all this already.
-the camera robots:
*can fight back if we try to go after them. "level one" response was shooting laser beams. one of the lenses on the "face" rotated before it did that. it mentioned a level two before I backed off, I don't know what that might be.
*they can either play tapes or something like talk.
*they're WAY heavier + sturdier than they look.
*I think maybe the "don't damage them" was bait.
-far as I know nobody found a radio, even just a receiver. Do we have the right stuff to build one? I can't really remember how but I know you don't need vacuum tubes or anything fancy, mostly wire. Could help figuring out where we are.]
