WEEK 2
[A week has passed. There's been no body, no investigation, no trial. No deaths. Congratulations!
Now the question is, will it last? At the moment, the Commander seems content with forcing people to do petty and mean-spirited errands in return for a mere shower. On the one hand, it's just for showers. On the other hand, what if the demands start to get more extreme? Would caving in encourage her? Is anyone willing to try and find out?
Honesty, with all the strange dates and information floating around from what's been uncovered, the only one in this place who's probably not worried as the time slips into its next movement is Sir Riprazor McRockfang. That's right, he's a sir. A grumpy sir, yes, but still a sir. No one's going to mess with him, regardless of what his true origins may be. And if they do, beware - he bites. Omnom. Good luck, everyone.
There are fifteen strangers - and one alligator - in this place.]

[There's also a very large fluffy cat who is sitting on his head as he's working on drawing something. Perhaps more importantly, there's a cougar sitting near his feet, looking at anyone who approaches.]

[She's openly pointing at the headphones. A tray of food is in her other hand as she hustles over to sit right across from him at the table.
That's when she notices the cougar and the smile on her face freezes.]

[He glances down at the cougar, and then back up.]
The cougar's fine for right now, I think. It's not hungry.

Awwwwwwwwww. Family is so important.
no subject
... It... can be, depending on the family. But my aunt and uncle took me in after my parents died.

When he notices the cougar at his roommate's feet, however, his steps... almost pause. He blinks a couple of times before resuming his steps, and then stops a few feet away. ]
Soooo... are we opening a zoo together, now?
[ He gestures to what should be familiar to Naoya, at this point, as Akira's familiar. Morgana's currently arching his back and moving so he's behind Akira's feet.
Needless to say, he does not appreciate Big Cat, whoops.
There's a small smile as he looks down at his familiar, and then takes a sip of the coffee in his hand. After a pause, he gestures a tiny bit with the cup, tilting his head a little at Naoya. ]
Apparently, the only way to get decent coffee around here, is to hope it drops out of that machine. [ a beat, and then a small, slightly sheepish grin ] It's, uh... much stronger than what I'm used to, though. I have no idea how long it's going to take me to finish it all.
no subject
[Who the fuck knows in this place. But he perks up a bit at the possibility of good coffee.]
Well, then. If you're offering... it might be a little difficult to brew things properly here, but we can give it a shot.
no subject
[ He might be very tempted to pet the one on Naoya's head, honestly. ]
Actually... it's already made. [ gesturing briefly with his free hand to the cup, one corner of his lips twitching a little ] I can go find you a separate cup, if you're weird about sharing germs with me.
[ Did that need to be said in a mildly teasing tone? Nope. But it was. ]
no subject
[That's... cute. And considerate. Ugh, stop giving him feelings.]
Tch. It doesn't worry me.
[He's had worse and he is reasonably sure Akira isn't carrying some weird teenage disease. He reaches out to take the cup.]
In this place, I don't think sharing a coffee cup is going to kill me. Not with you, at least.
no subject
... Fair warning, though: it's surprisingly strong.
[ With that, he's going to settle into a chair next to him, letting the Morgana Familiar jump into his lap. ]
no subject
That's much better.
[He's been having headache trouble in this place and it sucks.]
no subject
Isn't it? [ then, quietly: ] It's definitely needed, with how little sleep I still get around here.
[ While taking a moment to stretch a bit, he gives a quiet, not-exactly-humorous laugh. ]
You... still don't sleep much, either, right?
no subject
[He shakes his head at the question.]
A little more here than I normally have over the past... six months or so, actually. It's still not much.

he's mentally dragging his hands down his face; physically, he just sighs and runs a hand through his hair. ]
What is with this place and all of the wild animals?
no subject
No idea. But it's amusing, at least.
no subject
[ god. ] How do you plan on taking care of it?

I'll take your word for it. It'll come in handy if someone were to try to attack you, in any case.
