[A week has passed. There's been no body, no investigation, no trial. No deaths. Congratulations!

Now the question is, will it last? At the moment, the Commander seems content with forcing people to do petty and mean-spirited errands in return for a mere shower. On the one hand, it's just for showers. On the other hand, what if the demands start to get more extreme? Would caving in encourage her? Is anyone willing to try and find out?

Honesty, with all the strange dates and information floating around from what's been uncovered, the only one in this place who's probably not worried as the time slips into its next movement is Sir Riprazor McRockfang. That's right, he's a sir. A grumpy sir, yes, but still a sir. No one's going to mess with him, regardless of what his true origins may be. And if they do, beware - he bites. Omnom. [ BECAUSE LIFE HATES THEM. When they finally get there he'll help her operate the incinerator and dump the damn thing plate and all inside. Just. Just burn oh please god. ]

I... think we need to go to the restrooms. I feel dirty.

[ He's... going to throw his gloves into the incinerator, too. He's still wearing the space suit, after all. He hadn't changed yet into his real clothes that he won, he wanted what could pass for a bath in this place. ]

And oh, how she wishes she'd kept her gloves on this morning.]

Y-yeah. I need to wash my hands at least five times. Maybe take a shower, too.

[And probably burn this suit cause she has no idea if she can wash this thing.]

... If you need new clothes, I received two dresses in that... madness. You can have one of them, if you want.

[ It only felt right to give her something for her troubles. ]

...I'd hug you out of appreciation, but I think it'd be better to just say a simple thank you right now.

[She is not putting this smell on anyone else.]

[ He smiles weakly. ]

I would rather you did not, anyway. Hopefully one of them is a color you'll like. They're not really the kind of thing I'd wear. ... Thank you.

I think I'll take either, but if you've got a something close to a teal I'll take it.

[Just one of her favorite colors, really.]

One is green, and the other's blue and pink and it came with heels, so I think it's really up to your preference at this point.

[ You know, whichever you prefer. ]

I'm sure either one will look nice on you.

The second one please. It would be nice to have shoes.

[She doesn't want to walk around barefoot.]

All right, I'll give it to you after we've both, uh. Had some time to clean up.

[ The weakest of laughter. He'll make sure the incinerator is contained. It seems to be mostly done burning stuff. ]

Good idea. And thank you again.

[She hopes it's almost done because this gunk on her hands is disgusting.]

[ Honestly it's good enough. He's GOT to go wash his hands. His everything, really. ]

... This is good enough. I can... f-finish burning it later if I have to. Right now I just want to be clean, and I'm sure you do too. I'll take care of this and go back to the machine, okay?

[earietale]

Okay. Good luck.

[And off she goes to the bathroom, hoping to all hope that she can scrub this stench off her hands.]

[ He'll... come back when he's presumably changed and cleaner. He scrubbed his hands for way too long, but at least he feels better. He'll offer the dress to her. ]

Here. These were the shoes that came with it.

[Good news: She definitely washed her hands. She scrubbed them so hard that he might be able to see a couple scratches because she hadn't really been thinking of anything but get it off my hands.

Bad news: She is still wearing her space suit, cause she still didn't have anything else to wear and the other option was using her blanket as a towel while walking around the dome and no.]

Thanks. It's going to be nice to wear something different after wearing this for over a week.

Don't worry about it. I'll probably give the other dress to one of the other girls.

[ He offers a tired smile. ]

This machine is a bit of a menace, but it's the only way we can get anything useful... I have to admit I kind of hate it.

[earietale]

I think it's...sort of alright, actually. It gave me some useless stuff, like a shaving kit and a vinyl record, but also a film reel of...a movie I really like, and ready to play if I ever get something to play it on.

[So...yours was bad but her last one was really nice in her eyes.]
