[A week has passed. There's been no body, no investigation, no trial. No deaths. Congratulations!

Now the question is, will it last? At the moment, the Commander seems content with forcing people to do petty and mean-spirited errands in return for a mere shower. On the one hand, it's just for showers. On the other hand, what if the demands start to get more extreme? Would caving in encourage her? Is anyone willing to try and find out?

Honesty, with all the strange dates and information floating around from what's been uncovered, the only one in this place who's probably not worried as the time slips into its next movement is Sir Riprazor McRockfang. That's right, he's a sir. A grumpy sir, yes, but still a sir. No one's going to mess with him, regardless of what his true origins may be. And if they do, beware - he bites. Omnom. [... That's pretty good. Naoya just relaxes for a minute. This wine isn't even half bad. This is pretty calming, actually.]

[ He pauses after a moment to take another sip of the wine. While he can't say he's a wine person, it's not the absolute worst thing he's ever had. Far... from it, honestly. ]

That actually sounds pretty good, in spite of what we're stuck working with.

Heh. Hopefully. It's difficult to determine exact temperatures and things like that since we're guessing... but it'll be all right.

[He takes another drink, red slowly creeping over his face.]

[ He doesn't even notice the red, but he's got his own flushed cheeks happening, namely after he takes another couple of sips while they're preparing.

You know... I didn't even think about it, but... just how good do you think a prize from her could even be? I feel like, given our pattern so far, we're gonna wind up with some pet tarantula next...

[ THAT MIGHT BE A BIT OF A FACE HE'S MAKING NOW... guess who doesn't like spiders. ]

Tarantulas aren't that bad... as long as you don't piss them off. I knew a librarian who had a tarantula. She brought it in sometimes to show it off to kids.

But yes, whatever it is can't be all that great.

[ He takes a long drink from the cup, wrinkling his nose a bit at spider talk, just afterwards. His flushed cheeks probably make this one hell of a sight, too... ]

If it has eight legs, it's not shaped like a friend.
