[A week has passed. There's been no body, no investigation, no trial. No deaths. Congratulations!

Now the question is, will it last? At the moment, the Commander seems content with forcing people to do petty and mean-spirited errands in return for a mere shower. On the one hand, it's just for showers. On the other hand, what if the demands start to get more extreme? Would caving in encourage her? Is anyone willing to try and find out?

Honesty, with all the strange dates and information floating around from what's been uncovered, the only one in this place who's probably not worried as the time slips into its next movement is Sir Riprazor McRockfang. That's right, he's a sir. A grumpy sir, yes, but still a sir. No one's going to mess with him, regardless of what his true origins may be. And if they do, beware - he bites. Omnom. [There's that same less frosty tone he uses only for Nagisa. While Yurick doesn't really smile, his expression is far less harsh and closed off as well.]

Are you working on something? I can be out of your way, then, I'll only hinder you. I know how to cook over a hearth or campfire, but not this.

Actually, that kind of knowledge is exactly what I could use right now. Tealeaf-san didn't have any idea how to cook at all, so I'm trying to make the kitchen easier to use for everyone. [He isn't sure how much he's taking for granted in his explanations, but he doesn't want to talk down to anyone, either!]

I fail to see how my knowledge of open-flame cooking can be useful here. Unless you were planning to build a fire in here, though I imagine it would count as damaging property. I'd hate to see what the Commander would do to us for it.

Right. But most of the technology here is a little behind what I'm used to, so... I kind of don't have a lot of reference for how someone who sees it all as really advanced would need it explained.

That's a good reason. I'm not sure what kinds of poison would be available here, but...people can get creative.
