[Well, good going, Yurick and Vita. You dun fucked up. Now it's a murdergame. Still, could be worse. It could be a certain screechy female commander in charge, right?

In any case, you are stuck here. It's frustrating, and as time goes by, being here is going to wear everyone down. Not to mention the scent of those damn leis just won't go away, even after you've tossed them aside. The air permeates with it, and combine that with recycled air that only makes things more irritating and pungent, the limited supply of essentials, the limited space even on this large plane, the horrible electricity situation, *and* the threat of the murdergame now ever-present over everyone's heads?

Things are not fun right now. And as time goes by, it's going to only get worse. It's just a question of how - and whether there's any escape before it becomes too much to bear.]


((OOC: Welcome to the week! We'll be doing things a little differently here - we will have a sub-heading for investigations to happen, where players can send their characters of to find clues. Just head over there and use the OoC map to help guide your characters to major clues if you so wish!

Of course, you can always court disaster for your character, courtesy of the RNG, if you so wish! As a result, there will also be a sub-heading revealing everyone's level of injury, which will start at a default number for everyone (except those already injured coming in, or injuries inflicted before the pilot's call!) at the beginning of the week! This can be raised as you see fit to inflict pain on your character - just remember to TAG ANY COMMENT THREAD FOR THE MODS if you want injury rolls! Just don't go too high - your character may not survive if you do!

[Well, it's happening in the premier class bar like he said. Hiyori is clearly pretty stressed and worried that everyone will hate him now. He's trying to pick out drinks he thinks everyone would like. Absinthe for Beatrice. Cola for Jonathan. He's got sparkling water. The condensation marks on the side of the cup indicate a heavy, stressed grip.]

Uh, first things first, a toast to the fallen.

[A moment of silence. All three were complete strangers to him. For an educated boy, Hiyori has surprisingly few words.]

To business... Everyone please consider disclosing any powers or other resources you've discovered. Because the Captain already knows and we have no incentive whatsoever to hide them from each other, being, well, all in this together and everything.

I see the future. I was with, you know, Satanichia-sama in the premiere class seats and saw Dazai-san shot by the Captain; she can vouch for what he said. Obviously I failed to actually help, and I'm really sorry. I haven't done the thing again since then. If I do I'll let you know I guess. That's all.

[Kokoro frowns and surveys the room.]

He hinted mine earlier. I believe this is the extent of it.

[She focuses and begins to give off a sickly glow.]

I'll admit, it does not appear particularly useful in here.

... There are a lot of dead downstairs. Please don't go down there alone.

[His voice is quiet, somewhat hoarse from overuse and stress.]

The girl who... was called Tiffany... her name isn't... really Tiffany.

Y-Yes. I was there when...

[ She trails off and shakes her head. ]

W-Well, I, Satanichia, haven't figured it out yet, but surely I have something!

[Jonathan is here, and looks even more worn down than earlier. He's sipping the coke very cautiously... it was a kind gesture, though, something obviously tailored to him.]

Right. I can only do it once an hour, so I hope you'll take me at my word if you missed it when our... chauffeur started talking to us... I can duplicate myself. Only one copy, and only for about half a minute, and if it gets hurt it disappears, but the copy can talk and I remember the conversation. Can remember what they see, too. Which...

[A pause. Another sip of his drink. He is trying very very hard to keep his voice level and look calm.]

The snakes really like those flower garlands. The copy had one on because I did, and they went straight for it... Vita pulled the one on me off and threw it out of the elevator and they swarmed it like a bunch of garter snakes in spring. They might work to distract them.

The power I was given amplifies my voice. I haven't really tested how loud I can get, but when I tried it against the snake that bit me I could tell it was far greater than a normal shout. Unless someone wants to volunteer to be potentially deafened, it will be difficult to experiment.

[He sips at a bottle of cold tea, barely looking at Hiyori. Instead he's watching Jonathan, Vita, Link, Ren, and Atsushi (if they're present) for signs that they might need his support. Of course, Jonathan and Vita are inseparable, so if he's needed it will likely be by the others.]

[werewoofing]

I haven't been of much help... I'm sorry. [Says the Actual Literal Dog in a cone of shame and bandages.] I haven't discovered anything, or any special powers.

But my nose and ears should be better than most of yours. If there's anywhere you'd like me to check out, I'd be glad to.

[ He's been here, I swear. ]

I haven't figured what mine is yet. Guess it just hasn't been important enough to manifest yet.

[ He shrugs, popping a chip from a bag he probably lifted from the carte service. ]

Has anybody tried seeing what's so attractive about the leis? Might be worth digging into if it's something we can replicate to keep the snakes off our ass.

[ He'd hesitated but eventually he found himself here, wringing his hands a little. After speaking with Hiyori earlier following what happened to Dazai, he's feeling a little better but he feels like maybe he should speak up about what he has found. ]

I... don't know what my power is yet... but... I have discovered something that ties in to what the Pilot said earlier. He made a reference to someone named Mr. Jones.

[ Atsushi then pulled up a folded piece of paper out, unfolding it and then it was clear that what he had was a plane ticket. ]

I found this when I first entered Coach Class. Just lying on the floor and it's addressed to one Sean Jones. I suspect it's probably the one the pilot... our captain... spoke of.

I'm the idiot the "captain" was talking about - the one that teleported outside of the plane for a moment.

[ Doesn't... even sound ashamed? ]

Not Your Usual Mini Game

[The familiar static of the intercom starting up resounds through the plane again. Man, can't the Captain give you guys a break? (No, he likes hearing himself talk.)]

You guys keep trying to be sooo chummy like you think no one's gonna do anything. Hah! You do know what kind of state your precious hostages are in, right? Oh, I guess you don't. Well, why don't we make things a little interesting then?

Let's call it a mini-game. If one of you shits kills a fellow passenger before the next hour is up, I'll let that killer - and ONLY that killer - personally visit the premiere class! Free of charge, no investigation, no strings attached and as long as you're careful no one will even have to know! Maybe you'll find out the secret of why you can't see those poor fuckers as you are... if you don't, you idiots are probably just gonna spin your wheels the whole time and you'll never know for sure. Hahahaha!

But all of you pretend to be so innocent, you'd never just kill for information, right? So let's say if you stay in line over there in premium, I'll let you pick ONE of your hostages to spare, just like the main motive. And hey. Maybe this'll give you that taste of blood you need to finally get your shit together.

Deal ends when the hour's up. I'll be waiting.

[She notices there are still people around, turns red, and coughs.]

I mean... you may be anxious for further death and calamity, but you will only perish yourself, fiend.

[ So, how do you deal with, among other things, people being murdered, other people being threatened with their lives and a crazy guy who wants somebody to kill someone? How do you deal with all of this?

Why, try to go into denial, of course!

So Satania's just covering her ears and going: ]

[ But judging by the small amount of tears in her eyes, she's not exactly doing all that well. ]

You call trying to entice people to kill someone a GAME?!

[ Guess who's absolutely livid right now? His sadness has melted into a burning hot rage and anyone who sees Atsushi at this point is going to see quite the enraged look on his face, hands clutched into fists so tightly that his knuckles have gone white. ]

First you kill Dazai-san and then two other innocent people just because you can, then you TRY this? These are people's lives you're just playing with as if it's nothing, and you STILL can't even show yourself to us like the coward you are.

[ Does he care he's being reckless and angry? Saying things that could get him or someone else hurt? Not at the present time. ]

[Anyone around him might notice Yurick is absolutely frozen. The chance that his most important people are there where he can't reach them is too great. But even if he takes the devil's deal, he can only save one.

If he saves Nagisa, then Zael, Calista, and the other mercenaries, along with Lettie, will die.

If he saves Zael, he loses his brother and the others. Zael might never forgive Yurick for letting his wife die.

Those two choices alone are impossible, and adding any number of others into the equation only makes it worse. He's paralyzed, he can't decide who to save... which means he's actually considering taking his blade to someone. His fingers are already trembling on the hilt, even if he's not fully aware of it.]

[ Ren feels sick.

For a long while, he stares up in the direction from which he hears the static. Both hands curl into tight, trembling fists before he turns, both hands unfolding and then gripping the back of the chair next to him. And, as the world tilts just for a split second, he lowers himself to a crouching position.

He takes a few deep breaths before slowly moving to stand. The glare on his face is clear, even from a distance. ]

[werewoofing]

[This. This isn't good. Extra incentive to kill isn't good.

he spends the entire message growling uselessly at the air - the sound comes from everywhere, to his ears.

And then he's going to spend the next hour or so patrolling - he'll change who he's guarding around, but he'll at least check up on anyone and will spend more time with Link, Yurick, Ren, Jonathan, and Atsushi.]

Locked to Jonathan

[After that disaster when the incentive was announced, Vita went over to Jonathan and said she won't be attending that meeting and she felt he should since what they found needed to be shared.

She promised him she'd stick to the area around the room she woke up in, room 1. Her room also happens to be closest to the showers and such on that side so she has no problem getting herself some food and also grabbing some for Jonathan when the meeting is over. After she leaves that in her room she heads out for a shower.

Not long after that, she heard the announcement on the intercom and went running into her room still wearing only a towel and not even dried off yet. While she's worried about Jonathan and Yurick, she knows very well that Jonathan will come and find her immediately because an immediate threat would ensure he won't let her out of his sight until the threat is over and the longer he has to look for her, the more worried he'll grow. She definitely won't have time to dry herself off before he arrives, but that's fine by her.]

I couldn't - he just - he was too fast, if Link wasn't right there, I -

[What ragged tatters of self-possession he still has manage to get Jonathan to shut up. The door closed behind him, he slumps back against it, sliding down to the floor and ending up nearly curled up in a ball. He peers up at Vita through the short curtain of his hair.]

Yurick tried to cut his own throat. I was heading back to you, I turned around and he already... I couldn't do anything. Again.

[He hides his face against his knees, curling up tighter. Vita's seen him cry before, of course, but this feels more like a failure than any of those times.]

I want to forget we're here, and... and you're... you're clean and I'm disgusting, but... I don't want to leave you alone even for five minutes right now.

INVESTIGATION

[ It's been several hours and there's no sign of his Cruxis Crystal. Normally, he probably wouldn't be too invested in the little gem since he usually just left it with his sister, but facing the very real threat of dying meant there was a chance that his spirit could end up getting pulled into it. Soooo... having it on hand so someone could destroy it later was optimal.

So that's why Zelos can be found in various parts of the ships, digging through cabinets and checking under seats. Hanging around the coach area is not something he'd be thrilled about, but... hey. He's gotta do what he's gotta do. If he hears any hissing, he's getting the hell out of there.

He happens to notice whoever approaches, though he doesn't turn to face them. ]

Yo. Hey, have you happened to see a small little red gem around? I've been looking for it for a good chunk of the night, and I can't find anything.
