...we came in?
[There's no doubt that those who wake up will vaguely remember a dream.
In that dream, at least for most people, there are two figures, informing them each that they had a Title. With that title came a power. More than that, they were being given rooms, as if they were meant to stay in the dark and gloomy place where their dreams placed them. The Strangers might have found this to be a ridiculous proposition. Unless they have been through this before, then were probably not surprised in the least.
All of this, of course, ended with a sense of inexplicable dread for everyone. Especially when they woke up to find themselves in long, thin, cramped rooms, with only candlelight to give them any illumination.
Yes. Unfortunately, that dream had not been a dream at all, much as you might have hoped. You are here, now, inside an old, decrepit house where you have been given what appears to be a permanent residency. While you apparently have a power to aid you, it's no comfort. You have no option to leave, you have no way to escape, and the rules hammered to your door doesn't help the creeping sense of doom pooling in your stomach.
...
Now.
Where are those two figures that had greeted you to begin with?]

She smirked and pointed at a dummy and her nail extended spearing it right through where the third eye would be. She was distracted from the rest of her intro. Because that was just too cool. She grinned, and jerked her hand, ripping the dummy's head off. "OH YEAH!"

"Oh, brilliant! You could get both Stewards at once with nails like that, eh? Shish kebabs."
She DOES want to kill them as well, she hopes.

"It would be nice to get straight to the point for once."
The pun wasn't intended.

"Well, I do have some plans if you're up for getting your hands dirty. How much of this place do you have mapped so far?" she asked with a savage grin.

"Righto, let me know what you find then."
And she doesn't ask outright for the list of materials since she's sure that'd be coming anyway. Besides, whether they can be certain they'd have them here remains to be seen, so she's not going to make promises. ...It almost sounds like she wants to make a bomb. Which, given a large enough one, could explain how she'd plan to kill every spider in such an infested place.
Wouldn't turn out so well for the others around, mind. Possibly including herself.
"What are the materials for?"

"Hrm, gasoline might be difficult. I don't know if you've noticed, but... We appear to have traveled in time, or at least placed in a rather impressive replica."

"Funny, you didn't seem too bothered about that. Dupree, have you perhaps... been through something like this before as well?"
That other bloke had, so it was worth a go.

"It's clear this isn't my world, so who knows, maybe this is what the present is for this place. Though if it is the past... we'll get to kill all sorts of people just by killing their ancestors!" What a fun idea!
no subject
"Eh, it's not my world either, so I could care less whose future gets mucked up. What on earth's a Spark?"

This delivery is really dry. What do you mean they turned them into squids!? This explanation raised way more questions than it answered. She's just going to focus on one thing that made sense. Besides the obvious fact that Dupree REALLY likes killing things, that is.
"You take orders from that Baron guy?"
no subject
"The Baron and I have a deal. So yeah, he's kind of my boss for the moment. But he's not here to tell me not to kill people! So I want to get as much in as I can before he gets here."
no subject
"I'm just tired of people who think they can put me wherever I want, like a game piece. Anyone who does that deserves to be crushed."

"Right. I'll see you later then."

Ultimately, though, she finds there's not even a kitchen, let alone the cooking oil she's looking for, and the pickings for the other things are nowhere near enough to smoke out their captors, let alone burn down the house - the only fabric to be found is a few maid outfits, and the only wood (that wouldn't require her to break all the furniture, anyway) is in the dining room fireplace. Dupree may think of some creative ideas, but from Harriet's perspective, this plan is already a pipe dream. And anyway, she'd rather focus on one that only kills the ones responsible, even if she doesn't care that much about the others who are here.
This will be a longer game than they expected. As such, she doesn't go too far out of her way to try finding her new 'friend' again - it's not that big of a mansion, they'll run into each other sooner or later.
