[Friday morning is quiet enough.

Everything seems to be normal, as before. Normal and boring, even with the strange things happening around the Depths. After all, no one's killed yet. Why would they? Surely something as ridiculous as a weird fruit and a fleeting promise wouldn't provoke anyone to kill to see if something like that was actually true, right?

Right?

Still, if anyone was worried, they would at least feel justified at being tense. People were told to kill another in return for the safety and life of a loved one, after all. And it included a way out for someone who succeeded in getting away with it. There may be someone more than willing to kill for that chance.

And that's when you don't consider the two empty rooms, one of which was opened and resulted in more strange things happening. And what happened last week? It hasn't been solved, has it? And no one expected that.




Perhaps it's a thought to look around to make sure there's nothing off this morning.

Certainly, it couldn't hurt.]

[She's going to pet the Moo, angrily. Unless there's something odd on the way to the barn, or inside it?]

[We just want to make sure everyone knows, it has nothing to do with the investigation, but. The cow is unharmed. The Moo is ok and will accept your petting and your food.

Funnily enough though, Raph might notice a disturbed mound near the base of the tree as she goes on her way to the Moo.]

[If the living animals die then they riot. They're too pure for this place.

But she's going to look at the lump in the ground first. It is just upturned earth right? And not something else you'd find on a farm that would look like earth...]

[It is definitely upturned, and recently so as well.

Dig to see why?]

[She still has her gloves so why not? Getting a shovel would probably be a good idea, but wouldn't that just break whatever was there?

Hand digging it is!]

[She doesn't have to dig long - it's a key that she finds.]

[Does that key look like her room key? Even if it doesn't she's going to dig a bit more.]

[Having actually put in more effort in helping with the body than he wanted, McBurn will head on off to the conservatex to grab some fruit to munch on while he can. Of course he'll probably be roped into more effort.

So does anything seem different from when he investigated this place earlier this week from a glance?]

[A few things. Someone's dug up something, and also, there seems to be a few other things, as well, both all over and in specific places.

Where to first?]

[Well, he's going to head to whatever is closest to edible stuff and not poisons.]

[There are a few footprints here.

[Sure. Let's start with something easy. Anything off about the footprints? Like any blood? Is the ground wet there?]

[No blood or water here, but the footprints have been dragged considerably.]

[Futaba is going to come in here to get away from the body. She'll start by checking the garden to see if there's anything out of place.]

[Outside of someone having dug up something, there is something of note in and around the mound.

[!!! She's very careful to avoid stepping in them. Is it possible to tell what kind of shoes they were wearing?]

[Length-wise, it's almost impossible. Whoever did this dragged their feet to obscure their size.

Width-wise? It's possible, if you have a means of measuring it.]

[ Well considering Mags basically lives here since it opened...

He's by the waterfall, water always soothes him, even though he can't hear it, the way he would normally. Is there anything along the banks to see? ]

[There is a pile of something right by the waterfall.]

[ Welp, he's going to walk over carefully and see what it is. Maybe poke through it, depending. What is there to see? ]

[It's a set of clothing, crumpled, cold and wet, and still in the water.]

[ Huh.

He'll go through them carefully, looking for stains or tears or other signs of why it has been discarded. He'll also check for anything in pockets or hidden compartments as well as trying to work out if he's seen anyone in these ]

[There's no hidden pockets or compartments, and like this its difficult to discern who would have worn it.

However, there is a sizable tear on the end of one of the sleeves.]
