[Friday morning is quiet enough.

Everything seems to be normal, as before. Normal and boring, even with the strange things happening around the Depths. After all, no one's killed yet. Why would they? Surely something as ridiculous as a weird fruit and a fleeting promise wouldn't provoke anyone to kill to see if something like that was actually true, right?

Right?

Still, if anyone was worried, they would at least feel justified at being tense. People were told to kill another in return for the safety and life of a loved one, after all. And it included a way out for someone who succeeded in getting away with it. There may be someone more than willing to kill for that chance.

And that's when you don't consider the two empty rooms, one of which was opened and resulted in more strange things happening. And what happened last week? It hasn't been solved, has it? And no one expected that.




Perhaps it's a thought to look around to make sure there's nothing off this morning.

Certainly, it couldn't hurt.]

[Well, first off, breakfast is in order. Especially now that he has a dog in tow, Rubedo's first stop is the kitchen. He doesn't happen upon something like a dead body to delay this, does he?]

[After getting her breakfast, Futaba grumbles her way up to the library. Anything weird in here for her to notice on her way to some lazy reading?]

[Good, Futaba. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

There is a slight smell emanating in the air, as Futaba passes by the armory and towards the staircase.

Its not a scent that was there yesterday.]

[Well, there's only one thing to do when it's morning.

Breakfast, of course! He's going to get apples and tomatoes to eat.]

[Very soon after Laslow's corpse is found, there is a sudden loud sound, much like a bell. And yet at the same time it tonally sounds nothing like a bell. It deeply resonates throughout the body, and doesn't sound pleasant at all.

It chimes once, and once is enough to signal what is to come.

Soon enough, the Intercessor is on the hallway by the dining room, a cloaked hand holding a piece of paper. Its pinprick eyes stare at it, long and hard, before finally bringing out what looked like a bolt.

They make no comment as they jab the bolt onto the top of the paper - and proceed to slam it onto the wall with a surprising amount of strength, nailing it there for all to see.]

Order 7 has been invoked. These are the basic facts of the crime. Inquisition is upon us. You will have a limited amount of time to gather what evidence you can to aid you in finding the one who ended this life.

[ After actually finding Laslow's dead body in here, he makes sure Futaba will at least be okay on her own before getting up to explore the room. He was in here a couple times earlier in the week, so is there anything immediately off that he'd be able to pick up on besides the body and the daggers all over the floor?

Surely something will stand out, right? ]

[W o w rude that bell sure woke her up, huh. It's kind of hard to miss the group of people hanging out in the armory so Fie will just stroll on over and peek at that body. That sure is a lot of stab wounds.

If there isn't anything else that immediately stands out about the body in its current position, how about we try a quick frisk?]

[So after grabbing a bite to eat, McBurn decides to join the group. He's still got some of the food he grabbed and seems to be completely not bothered by the fact that the room smells like blood, burning and there is a corpse here. After all, if there's going to be some lengthy nonsense, he wants to be sure to have eaten.

He's the most interested in the burnt stuff since he's definitely an expert on burning things and all, does there seem to be a source for the smell?]

[Now that the precious cinnamon roll has been steered away from seeing a dead body, let's get back to work. Since Killua seems to have the daggers, he'll look around the room at large...particularly the floor. Any blood trails or anything to indicate the body was dragged in here, since the room doesn't look like the scene of a fight?]
