[Friday morning is quiet enough.

Everything seems to be normal, as before. Normal and boring, even with the strange things happening around the Depths. After all, no one's killed yet. Why would they? Surely something as ridiculous as a weird fruit and a fleeting promise wouldn't provoke anyone to kill to see if something like that was actually true, right?

Right?

Still, if anyone was worried, they would at least feel justified at being tense. People were told to kill another in return for the safety and life of a loved one, after all. And it included a way out for someone who succeeded in getting away with it. There may be someone more than willing to kill for that chance.

And that's when you don't consider the two empty rooms, one of which was opened and resulted in more strange things happening. And what happened last week? It hasn't been solved, has it? And no one expected that.




Perhaps it's a thought to look around to make sure there's nothing off this morning.

Certainly, it couldn't hurt.]

[No. There's no sign of anyone being dragged in or out of the Armory.]

[Huuuuuh. A surprise attack? Back over to the corpse...wait, he sees two bloody daggers and only one wound. How big is that wound, anyway?]

[Its definitely big enough to have been caused by either of the daggers.]

[Either, not both? Don't mind him just Literally poking into the wound to see if it looks like he was stabbed multiple times in the same spot or something.]

[It looks like Laslow was only stabbed once.]

Huh. Hey Killua, do both of those daggers look like they were used to cut or stab someone?

[ He wanders over after a bit with both daggers and holds up one with the blade and a little bit of the hilt completely coated in blood, so Rubedo can get a good look at it. ]

Yeah. This one appears to be the one that had to have killed him with that stab wound, and the other looks like it has some blood on it too but not as much. I figure maybe he injured his attacker?

I was thinking the same thing. It doesn't look like there was a fight here, or like someone dragged the body in from somewhere else, but maybe he got one hit in before he collapsed.
