WEEK 1
[The train wouldn't stop. Not until very early the next morning. The few who might have been awake would be able to exit the train, entering the cool twilight of the dawn. The star is dark, and few stars can be seen in the sky as a cold breeze begins to blow from the mountain beyond. You can see some chunks of rock floating idly nearby, far away from the station that it won't hit trains, but near enough that one can see they are larger than the train they just disembarked.
Lastly, laid out in front of them, the first port of call: Menahoven. The mountain: The Throat of the World.
But which world? Who knows. Not any of yours. Maybe it doesn't matter. Not when you are so far from home. Not when you have no way to get off this rock without the aid of the trains-and they will not let you pass.
It looks like you're stuck here until the Conductor decides to leave. In the meantime, everyone will need to get comfortable.
There are fifteen strangers left in this place.]

[She could probably track him down if she needed to tell him something but still.]
no subject
[ He doesn't plan on going into the library though. ]
no subject
[ ' u ' ]
no subject
[ She knows what to expect, so he doesn't bother saying much else.
He'll be heading towards the Gift Shop first. It's just completely random choice, really... though he'll find soon enough that there's nothing of interest to him in here. ]
no subject
[Towa has a little notebook with her-- which she's using to make a small makeshift map of the town, marking the gift shop as they run into it first. While she's okay with the comfortable silence, there is something she's curious about.]
If you don't mind me asking... if you hadn't been brought here, what would you have been doing right now?
no subject
...Following orders or taking a stroll. Whichever came first.
[ There was also 'taking a nap' but that technically wouldn't be doing much of anything, sooo... ]
You?
no subject
Finishing school. Although after that, my answer would be about as good as yours since I'm not sure what I'll be doing after that.
[Then her eyes spot it. The Dragonbane Sword.]
Oh. That's an interesting looking sword.
no subject
So if this was a game this is where an exclamation point would be appearing right now. ]
...A sword, huh?
[ To be fair, McBurn's eyes first seem to search for a price tag....
...
...okay he has no idea how this works and so he's considering taking it. ]
no subject
[The fact that it has even McBurn's attention is enough to prove it's worth.
...]
There's no one here though.
[...]

How lucky, no one's here to notice...! ]
That's right. Never know when it might come in handy.
no subject
You're just going to take it?
[Why is she now a witness to a crime? Why this??]
...but I can't deny the possibility. If the people here are armed with such weapons, there's probably a reason for that...
[JUST! THIS! ONCE!]
no subject
[ A lazy smile finds it's way on his face as he casually lays the sword against his shoulder like it isn't a big deal. ]
Maybe a big fight's about to break out sometime soon.
[ Thanks for being so understanding, Towa!! ]
no subject
[In truth, even without his powers, she's less worried about him and more whoever he might be fighting.]
I wouldn't mind refereeing if you want to go all out.
[At least that way she can be there to perform first aid if necessary.]
no subject
[ Honestly, that's fair.
There's a brief pause as he considers her words. Then again, he's just using a sword and not his flames. ]
Why would there need to be a referee?
no subject
That way, you can leave me to worry about any injuries so you don't have to worry about holding back.
[It feels like a safe and fair way to make it work.]
no subject
[ He supposes he wouldn't have to even bother with doing the work to clean up if there are injuries too which would be Work, so... ]
Then, feel free to come.
