WEEK 1
[The train wouldn't stop. Not until very early the next morning. The few who might have been awake would be able to exit the train, entering the cool twilight of the dawn. The star is dark, and few stars can be seen in the sky as a cold breeze begins to blow from the mountain beyond. You can see some chunks of rock floating idly nearby, far away from the station that it won't hit trains, but near enough that one can see they are larger than the train they just disembarked.
Lastly, laid out in front of them, the first port of call: Menahoven. The mountain: The Throat of the World.
But which world? Who knows. Not any of yours. Maybe it doesn't matter. Not when you are so far from home. Not when you have no way to get off this rock without the aid of the trains-and they will not let you pass.
It looks like you're stuck here until the Conductor decides to leave. In the meantime, everyone will need to get comfortable.
There are fifteen strangers left in this place.]

I guess... we may be further from Erebonia than I thought...
[But a bit of hopelessness isn't enough to stop her. There are a lot of things to see in this town and after all that time on the train-- she's ready to get out a bit. The apothacary seems like a good place to try. She didn't expect it to be something you could do on your own.]
I guess we're allowed to make our own items.
[She also pays a much needed visit to the library. This is where she spends most of the day really; browsing through books trying to learn about the place. If only to try and find a clue where in the universe they might be. She might hurt herself at this rate, trying to reach books that are just. Out of her height zone.]
Towa does look at the forge but...]
I figured not. It would be too strange for a town like this to make guns. I suppose... I could try to learn something new...
[She doesn't sound confident though.]

Into a place unlike anything he had seen in his life.
You might find him standing near the train, mouth agape as he stares at the entirely new scenery.]
Oh my god...
[Whenever he's done having his mind blown, he attempts to go to one of the other trains and tries to get on. Only to be denied.]
HAH?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN, I'M NOT ALLOWED ON THE TRAIN?! [Uh... Someone stop him before he ends up arguing with the station attendant. Or worse.
Anyway, as soon as he decides the train station is staffed by assholes he'll wander off. You might find him at the pyramid later, questioning its very existence. Why, he's only seen these on tv. Never in his life had he been able to get up close to one. Now he's just... Confused. Why is it here? What does it do? He kind of wants to touch it...]

...Wow. He really isn't in Monsteropolis anymore, Toto.
He spends some time looking at the Pyramid, or as much of it as he can. He has an oddly... guilty look on his face for some reason.]
Pharaoh Man should be here for this...
[The Gift Shop draws his eye as well, though he doesn't have anything he can use to trade yet. But he had asked the Conductor about whether or not there was one, and it would be rude not to get her a little something as a thank you for her glowing recommendation. He'll help himself to a map and brochure while he's there, too.]
A gift shop with no keychains or postcards? Not even a snowglobe?
[He'll end up in the Library for a good chunk of the day, trying to find anything truly useful among all the books here. Maybe those Proscribed books, if he can figure out a way to get ahold of one...]

So, he's going to do a bit of exploring. Maybe you'll see him in the library reading one of the clearly wrong books, trying to pry some actual information out of it.
Maybe he'll be at the forge, looking over some of the weapons on display, somewhat concerned.
Or he could be at the apothecary, sort of looking over the various ingredients, but not really trying to make anything.
Or you might just see him walking around Menahoven, looking around at the general area.
The point is, he's not staying on that train at all for today.]

First thing he finds himself next to the Pyramid. He's ... never seen anything like it before. ]
How ... strange. What reason would someone have to make a structure like this?
[ He's talking to himself but feel free to overhear him.
After he'll find himself spending some time at the apothecary. He doesn't make anything, but he does seem to be quite into the book that was there to read. Seems he's busy musing to himself while doing so. ]
I never knew this kind of ingredient existed ...
[ Once he's done there he'll venture to the Forge next door. There he takes a moment to look at the variety of weapons before he lays his eyes on a long sword. He gives it a long stare and it looks like he ... wants to take if off the wall. ]
I wonder if it's allowed...?
[ Should he? ]

He can be seen at some point in the library, trying to focus on reading the books and absently mumbling things to himself as he does. There's also a time after that where he seems like he's about to go to the forge to take a look, but anyone nearby might note how he tugs at the collar of his shirt up absently and goes really pale before turning on his heel to go somewhere else.
After that point, he does head toward the bestiary, as that didn't seem like a bad idea. What was the harm in going and looking at animals? ]

sometime after the meeting....
[That's what he's shouting as he wanders up and down the train with a mewing black cat being held like a football. It came out of the baggage claim and he certianly doesn't want it...]
Free cat! Someone take this cat home or something!
[Later, after he somehow got rid of the cat, he goes to the dining car and helps himself to the rice dish he got. Hey, food is food, even if he has no idea what it is or how long it's been sitting in the baggage claim... And yes, he's eating this with a spoon. Like a heathen.

Most of the rest? It's laid out on one of the tables in the dining car. He sits in a booth at the table, the notebook in one hand as he reads something that won't be edited, and the other petting the...technically normal cat for everyone else, for him a sort of weird but docile living being, which lays beside him, sleeping.
The robot dog is on the floor, also, doing it's own thing. King would try to get it under control, but he prefers not burning, so he's not going to stop it.
This day is certainly turning out to be interesting...]

And they certainly were interesting! Especially a certain one to him which he immediately pockets once he realizes what it was.
He'll gather the items, gently picking up the cat last, and makes his way to the lounge. He wants to see what's in the book but he also wants to see if this is someone's cat? And what better place to find people than the lounge. He can sit on the couch and take a look at the book, strange device, and ... some can of liquid?... while he waits for someone to come in. ]

He's next visible at the Gate, with a few swords nearby him. One is a sword fit for a hero of legend, and is one of the ones he's giving a look at. He's evidently waiting for someone as well, though no one can probably guess that at first glance...
Then towards the latter part of the day, he's in the library, seated in a chair...eyes closed. It looks like he's fallen asleep. ]

Of course the little jerk is following after him, crying for attention. He's also playing with the throwing knife a little as he heads back to his room. This is a terrible idea, for two reasons.
First, he doesn't actually know how to world a knife, let alone a throwing knife.
Second, his hands make this a disaster waiting to happen. It might not, he's not trying to play with it in a particularly flashy way, just feeling out the weight of it a bit, but. This is still stupid. He'll stop when he sees someone if he's not stopped first.]
Know any good cat names?
[Anyway, so, the lounge has TVs, yeah? Presumably this isn't too hard to set up, idk what format it is.
Minato got a video. He got a bunch of popcorn. He got.....a soda??? He thinks it might be soda? Anyway he's gonna watch himself a movie. Please feel free to join him. Or claim your stuff. The sword is sitting next to him. So is the knife (he's cleaned it off), unless someone took that away from him earlier.
Or you could catch him wandering basically anywhere. He's likely to be out late - maybe stargazing.]

FRIDAY
no subject
[If anyone wanders into the lounge at any point before noon, and particularly if they wander a bit further back toward the bar, they will find...
Well, firstly, they'll likely find a couple of the ship's new cats curled up on various comfortable surfaces, but more importantly, they will find what can only be described as a ball of blanket on a bench near the back.
Further inspection will reveal two things. One, the ball is moving slightly, as if there's something inside and breathing. Two, there's a tiny bit of platinum blonde hair spiraling out from the top of the ball.
Yes, this is how (and where) Ris has elected to sleep.
>Wake?]
[potion lessons 101]
[After eventually waking and finally getting herself off the train to head out into their stop, Ris eventually finds herself at the apothecary.
She's reading through the potion book, studying the ingredients like she's trying to memorize them. After a little while of this, she begins to take a couple of ingredients to try her hand at this.]
Blue dartwing... all right, so that's butterfly wing next, right...?
[(super mario coin sound)]
[Eventually, Ris returns to the train, and tentatively pokes her head into the baggage claim. There's a distinct clinking noise coming from her pockets: the sound of coins.
She only gets a few in, at first. What she winds up with causes her to stop and stare for a moment, a long moment, before sighing and hauling her gains off to the dining car.
She'll be found there, sighing and picking at a plate offered to her for dinner. It looks like she's picking around anything with obvious signs of spices. Huh.
Out on a table nearby, she has a array of objects set out for anyone to take.
There's a gold ingot, a metal key, a set of seven stakes, a jar of pickled walnuts, and a bowl of seafood stew.
A little further away, there is one more item up for the taking: an entire garbage bag full of popcorn.
She'll poke her head up to look at whoever might stop by, but she won't actually speak up to stop them from taking anything.]
[new best friend]
[After dinner, Ris heads back to the baggage claim with one last coin, and tries her luck.
She can be found again in the lounge with a very large, fluffy white cat all but melted into her lap. There's a growing wet patch near the cat's mouth, and the sounds it's making are not unlike a running motor. Ris is running one hand through the cat's fur, looking equal parts mystified and delighted.
Ris has never pet a cat before. This is the best day of her entire life.]
