[The train wouldn't stop. Not until very early the next morning. The few who might have been awake would be able to exit the train, entering the cool twilight of the dawn. The star is dark, and few stars can be seen in the sky as a cold breeze begins to blow from the mountain beyond. You can see some chunks of rock floating idly nearby, far away from the station that it won't hit trains, but near enough that one can see they are larger than the train they just disembarked.

Lastly, laid out in front of them, the first port of call: Menahoven. The mountain: The Throat of the World.

But which world? Who knows. Not any of yours. Maybe it doesn't matter. Not when you are so far from home. Not when you have no way to get off this rock without the aid of the trains-and they will not let you pass.

It looks like you're stuck here until the Conductor decides to leave. In the meantime, everyone will need to get comfortable.

[ Good thing this Half-Elf isn't planning on sleeping tonight!

So Pyramid is a no-go hmmm. Okay let's just get that bestiary out of the way. Mithos never wanted to go back there again but maybe there's ... something there besides the dragon. ]

[There are other animals. There's a family of walrus-things, a skeleton horse, a freaking unicorn, and a thing that is even larger than the dragon, and can barely move, being so big.

Aw.]

[ a unicorn isn't something that be expected despite there having been a dragon here. and that really big thing ... it must be hard not being able to move around here.

... would be be able to approach any of them. perhaps with bread pellets or do they all not want anymore like the dragon ]

[The walrus-things seem a bit wary, and the skeleton horse just looks like it probably doesn't want or need any food.

The unicorn and giant thing seem amenable to the bread, though.]

[ well it's a skeleton so mithos isn't surprised there at all ...

but hey he can ... actually approach the unicorn so let's go that and offer it some bread pellets ]

[Om om om. Bread pellets are delicious!]

[ alright unicorn is fed! he's never actually been near a unicorn before so this is a good experience for him.

now ... what about the huge thing that doesn't seem to be able to move aka the more concerning one. ]

[It tries to lean forward to eat. Though--be careful it might accidentally start slurping up Mithos' arm, given the size of its mouth.]

[ maybe putting the bread pellets on the ground would be a better idea ... let's do that. as close to it as possible so it can reach them. ]

... Are you alright?

[ he doesn't know if this thing can speak like the dragon but watching it Try it's Best to eat is making Mithos concerned despite... what happened last time ]

[There is a sound that comes from the creature.

It...does sound happy, at least, to be fed.]

[ well he's glad it sounds happy to be fed but ]

Is there ... anything I can do to help?

[Random hrrrrrrn sound.

It looks like Mithos has done a good thing to feed it, at least.]

[ Well that's good. Before he goes Mithos has one more question for it. He feels bad it can't move but ... there's nothing he can do about it is there. ]
