[The train wouldn't stop. Not until very early the next morning. The few who might have been awake would be able to exit the train, entering the cool twilight of the dawn. The star is dark, and few stars can be seen in the sky as a cold breeze begins to blow from the mountain beyond. You can see some chunks of rock floating idly nearby, far away from the station that it won't hit trains, but near enough that one can see they are larger than the train they just disembarked.

Lastly, laid out in front of them, the first port of call: Menahoven. The mountain: The Throat of the World.

But which world? Who knows. Not any of yours. Maybe it doesn't matter. Not when you are so far from home. Not when you have no way to get off this rock without the aid of the trains-and they will not let you pass.

It looks like you're stuck here until the Conductor decides to leave. In the meantime, everyone will need to get comfortable.

[Whelp. Guess he'll look at it. Does it have pictures or does he need to get someone to read to him?]

Gues he's walking back to the train and poking his head in to yell.]

HEY EVERYONE! I FOUND THIS STONE THING IN THE GIFT SHOP WITH WORDS ON IT! CAN SOMEONE COME READ IT FOR ME?!

[ and once again Mithos hears Zack. This time as he's making his way out of the train to do some investigating himself. ]

In the Gift Shop? I can read it for you.

[ Show him the way, Zack. And he'll read whatever the stone tablet says aloud. ]

[And he will lead the fantasy kid to the weird slab at the gift shop.]

[ Mithos reads what it says on the stone tablet word per word. After he's... quiet for a moment, before turning to Zack ]

[Zack just stares at the tablet as Mithos reads it off... Looking more confused as the kid keeps reading.]

... I have no fucking clue. But I'm pretty sure that ain't Egyptian.

[He barely knows anything about Egypt, but there are sandy pyramids and mummies left in there with a bunch of fancy shit. Dragons are not Egypt. They belong in some kinda fantasy world.]

[ Mithos looks back at the tablet once more ]

I wonder if it's related to the pamphlet I found here earlier. It mentioned an area known as Skymin, that existed on the planet known as Mundus. A few people claim that this area is part of it.

... What.

[He's confused.]

You mean we're on another planet?

We have to be. We don't seem to be on any of ours.

[ That much was certain. To Mithos in any case ]

But .. more importantly it seems that part of one land was ... somehow brought here to be part of this one. That's why while there are things that are Egyptian there are other things that aren't.

[ Not that ... Mithos would know the difference between the two ]

I believe Minato told me the Pyramid was Egyptian, but the monsters here aren't, for example.
