[So, that trial sure happened, didn't it? And on nearly empty stomachs, no less. That's why people might catch Alastor headed for the kitchen as soon as they're out of the theater, obviously intent on making food. He's in there a while, actually, and the hallway outside of it smells strongly of some rather tasty food.

What he's up to will become clear when he goes around to tell people to visit the mess hall. There, he's set up a varied buffet on one of the tables, all of various foods easy to serve in small portions. This includes small slices of beef only very lightly seared on the outside, but also more fully cooked fare, and even a few fruit and vegetable dishes. Plus the requisite spread of alcohol, because it sure has been A Day, huh?

...Also, while Hermes obviously doesn't eat, he still gets the instructions to go to the mess hall. Huh.]

[Fine, fine.] Nothing I did near the end caused me any injury. I'm getting enough of a handle on my power that I don't lose balance or crash into walls very much anymore.

'S good. Means we just have to worry about the decomposing problem.

Yeah. I'll try to be careful, but it's hard to promise anything. Especially with the possibility of badger-chariot hybrids.

You can borrow the other chariot I got, if you can figure out how to drive it. ...Or the car taking up most of the space in my room. You know, if you think either of those will help.

Not like I've never driven a chariot before, if only at sporting events.

This one's...not a normal chariot. At all. I kind of figured it out, but only kind of.

I don't know, but I haven't gotten it out. Maybe he made his transaction with the Gimme while already in there?

A bit, yeah... It's just me and the car in there, now, so it's not really that cramped, at least.

And I guess if you need to, you can just shove stuff in the car for storage.

Huh...must've taken some effort to get that through the door.

It did... It helps that my power makes me situationally a lot stronger.

And getting it out will be just as much of a pain...when the badger is down there somewhere...

And I can get it out the same way I got it in. I'll be watchful, and having a lookout wouldn't hurt.

Not sure I could stop it. I tried to kick the thing, and it just latched onto my foot and tried to eat it.

No, but you could be down the hall to warn me if you spot it. And I might be able to outrun it. ...Once again, my power is kind of useful now that I have some control.

If I spot it from a ways away, I might be able to nail it with a blade. I missed last time, but I was thrown by the fact that it wasn't scared of me.

That's a good option, too. If we're careful, I think we can retrieve the chariot.

...It really is a ridiculous thing. It's gold and has guns and confetti.
