[The unfortunate death, and subsequent execution, has no doubt weighed on everyone's minds since. The dam has burst, and now, the idea that someone may kill another in this place is not just a possibility anymore. It is reality, and a very terrifying reality at that.
Yet, there is a strange side effect to the murder's aftermath. When the Titled go to sleep on Saturday evening, they will dream, even if they don't normally do so. When they wake up, their dream stays with them, and a thought comes to everyone. A realization.
Their dream had been a memory they lost. Now, they have it back, as if they had never lost it.
Nor is that the only change. They also feel just a little more confident in their power. Confident enough that they find that their ability has evolved to become stronger. Whether that's a good or a bad thing, well...
Soon enough, too, the Titled's phones start pinging, and when they open up their LIME app, they receive a simple message:]
Your Mall Map has been updated!
[And indeed, those who go to check the Food Court will find an elevator on the eastern end which leads to a brand new wing that had previously been obscured by the barrier.
Dio and Wake's information is also slightly different from before on the LIME app, but...maybe it's best not to think about it. Last week had been...disheartening.
Hopefully, this week will be better, right? Surely, this week, temptation won't win out again....right?
Well.
There's only one way to find out.
Welcome to Week 2, Titled.
There are thirteen strangers in this place.
This week's crab is Dungeness.]

About time there was a shower. I know this is a mall, but who the hell plans to make people stay in one place without giving them a shower?
[It's inconsiderate of them, seriously.
Videax 9000 is the best thing Britt could have found in this godforsaken place. Movies! Lots of movies! He takes a chair, places a DVD, and shoves a movie there, watching the screen while he has his feet on a table. He looks like he's finally satisfied]
You know what's so great about superhero movies? Everyone looks so badass. Just look at that, who wouldn't want a power like those? [...] Wait, we have powers now. Whoever got us here must be a fan of superhero movies.

[ Without CC on, he can't really follow the plot, but the beauty of superhero movies is that it's kind of easy to figure out what the hell's happening plot-wise anyway.
He has a few other DVDs he found. One of them is some random toku bullshit, so... not too far off from superheroes. The other is a powerful romance for the ages that he definitely remembers doing weird discourse on with a girlfriend he only now remembered, thanks to those dreams they had over the weekend.
...or at least, Ren thinks it is. He might have accidentally picked up the version with the talking mice instead because he spent like a half second looking at the cover. ]

[He peeks into the DVDs, crinkling his nose at the cover. Romance and mice? Your tastes are kind of strange, buddy]
What's this?
no subject
[He takes a closer look at the cover, then frowns. Look, Titanic may span across multiple universes, but he's never seen this one before.]
...this is proof I need to look for more than one second at these covers. Apparently.
[The toku bullshit one, however, was totally on purpose.]
no subject
[He's not judging, yeah]
What about that other one? Was that an accident? I don't even get what kind of movie this is.
[He opens the case of the toku bullshit one as if the answer's going to be written inside. At least the cover and what he skimmed from the blurb on the back kind of pique his curiosity, you got his interest with that]

...do the heroes always win?

[ Yeah, she's on the verge of tears. ]

Y-Yeah, I guess? It's not going to get better anytime soon, but in the end maybe it will.
[That's...not a very comforting thing to say, Britt]

Do you think it can? I want to think so, but without Wake...
no subject
[You sure seem a bit fixated on that Wake guy. Hmmm...]
Who's Wake? Your brother, your friend, your boyfriend...why did you care about him so much?
no subject
[ Focus on the easier(?) answer instead. ]
He was my friend, God's Gift, and the father of my star children. He's not only important to me, he's important to everyone at home! [ She's not sure why she's yelling of a sudden. ]

[He looks rather scandalized]
no subject
[ She looks really apologetic, her shoulders sagging. ]
Yes, of my star children. [ A small pause. ] Not normal children.
[ A thorough explanation would be better, but there was an attempt! ]
