WEEK 2

[The unfortunate death, and subsequent execution, has no doubt weighed on everyone's minds since. The dam has burst, and now, the idea that someone may kill another in this place is not just a possibility anymore. It is reality, and a very terrifying reality at that.

Yet, there is a strange side effect to the murder's aftermath. When the Titled go to sleep on Saturday evening, they will dream, even if they don't normally do so. When they wake up, their dream stays with them, and a thought comes to everyone. A realization.

Their dream had been a memory they lost. Now, they have it back, as if they had never lost it.

Nor is that the only change. They also feel just a little more confident in their power. Confident enough that they find that their ability has evolved to become stronger. Whether that's a good or a bad thing, well...

Soon enough, too, the Titled's phones start pinging, and when they open up their LIME app, they receive a simple message:]

Your Mall Map has been updated!

[And indeed, those who go to check the Food Court will find an elevator on the eastern end which leads to a brand new wing that had previously been obscured by the barrier.

Dio and Wake's information is also slightly different from before on the LIME app, but...maybe it's best not to think about it. Last week had been...disheartening.

Hopefully, this week will be better, right? Surely, this week, temptation won't win out again....right?

Well.

There's only one way to find out.

[All the Titled, early in the morning, get a ping on their phones. Your High Horses is having a sale on special decorative pins! Though, when you get there, the pins are still ridiculously expensive. And blank.

Still, a thought will come to every Titled's head, regardless, that they should at least consider buying one. There's 15 of them, after all...so if you're lucky you can get two extra, perhaps?...]

A - in person

[Haha no, Joey has made a perfectly massive blanket fort in her room and she ain't coming out of it today. You're free to knock but this mountain fastness is impregnable.]

[Okay she'll leave to get food because she didn't stock up on groceries when she was buying all these extra pillows and blankets. You could also catch her then. But for now this is a 'screw this mall' day.]

B - LIME chat

[That said, she eventually gets starved enough for contact and has had enough time to think through the events of yesterday's nonsense that she feels the need to open a chat and talk about it.]

okay so, first topic: please tell me if colored font and background is hard to read.
it is kind of my thing but i realize this is a teenage girl style and i don't want you to confuse me for LC.

second topic: i hate this and i want to go home.
we need to find a way out that isn't killing.
no one deserves what happened to Wake, and even the guy who did that to him doesn't deserve what happened to Dio.

third topic: speaking of which, what the heck?????
has anyone ever seen something like that before?
it was like something out of one of the really, really horrible episodes of Acorn's Shadow they don't replay on syndication.
also there was an elephant but i've watched Dumbo exactly once and i never intended to do so again anyway.
i think three topics are enough for now.

Or more likely you'd die of thirst if you forgot to stop to drink something. Seriously, at least come out for long enough to get a meal and let the others see you're still alive and we don't need to go through another of those trials.

[Do you know how good it is to be able to take a shower after one week? It's nice. Britt hogs the shower room for a while, getting dressed and going out. This is good]

About time there was a shower. I know this is a mall, but who the hell plans to make people stay in one place without giving them a shower?

Videax 9000 is the best thing Britt could have found in this godforsaken place. Movies! Lots of movies! He takes a chair, places a DVD, and shoves a movie there, watching the screen while he has his feet on a table. He looks like he's finally satisfied]

You know what's so great about superhero movies? Everyone looks so badass. Just look at that, who wouldn't want a power like those? [...] Wait, we have powers now. Whoever got us here must be a fan of superhero movies.

A Touch of Fitnesse

[Well, a gym definitely is of interest to a guy like Loewe, but mostly he's going to be in one of the rooms practicing with a sword he picked up from the novelty weapons section of Yotsukoshi. Not quite the quality he'd want, but he's not going to ignore training.

He'll stop if anyone comes in, but won't object to an interruption. Strangely, he seems to pick up on someone being in the room the moment they step in though.

He'll check out some of the other things at some point, but will seem rather confused by all of it. Machines for training definitely is a bit odd for a guy who would train in any large open space. He'll also gladly make use of the shower in the pool annex area.]

[Well, it's technology Loewe doesn't get, but he's going to try and figure it out. Feel free to catch him accidentally putting in a DVD upside down though. Or once he figures it out, he'd be up for watching a movie with someone if they can deal with someone who has never seen video before reacting with awe over it.]

[ Ren spends most of the morning exploring the new wing, before taking a shower at the gym. He's just so very relieved to finally have a place where he can bathe and feel like a human being again.

When he's through with exploring, he takes some colored pencils and a sketchbook from Colourmen and Sons.


After that's done, he comes back to the first wing where he makes a few stops at both Death Crime Beast Rage and Black Rose Witches, where he's... looking at the various clothes in both stores, but very pointedly not buying any.

Then he buys one of those Weekly Crab Special buckets before taking his supplies and food to the Cat Cafe. Yes, he's taking all of the shell bits and other nasty crud off before feeding a good portion of those crab legs to the cats.

There's a bunch of different sketches he's doing here - an assortment of random Pokemon, flowers, cityscapes... but out of his human drawings, he seems most occupied with a woman wearing black lipstick, drawn in various states of dress and undress.

In the sketches where she's wearing clothes, she seems to be dressed in outfits that look like they belong in the two stores he looked through for inspiration earlier. ]

i'm not going to arguing about that.
like even putting aside that i CAN'T argue that with any sense of my own morality, that's not what i mean.
that execution was some full-on satanic insanity.
i'm against the death penalty when the death penalty is a neat little shot, let alone when it's getting trampled by a demon elephant.

[ He'll be spending most of his time in his room. He's best reached by LIME chat today, unless you happen to catch him when he finally does come out to shower and eat.

As per the norm, he can be found doing the latter part in the cat cafe.

Anyone who catches him there when he's not eating? Will find him lying on the floor, sleeping cat on his chest, with him staring up at the wall.

For once, he's keeping to himself for the most part.

"Most part" since he won't be avoiding anyone, more than he won't be making a point to jump right into approaching anyone. If anything...

He'll be heading back to his room after eating and spending some time being a cat bed. ]
