[The unfortunate death, and subsequent execution, has no doubt weighed on everyone's minds since. The dam has burst, and now, the idea that someone may kill another in this place is not just a possibility anymore. It is reality, and a very terrifying reality at that.
Yet, there is a strange side effect to the murder's aftermath. When the Titled go to sleep on Saturday evening, they will dream, even if they don't normally do so. When they wake up, their dream stays with them, and a thought comes to everyone. A realization.
Their dream had been a memory they lost. Now, they have it back, as if they had never lost it.
Nor is that the only change. They also feel just a little more confident in their power. Confident enough that they find that their ability has evolved to become stronger. Whether that's a good or a bad thing, well...
Soon enough, too, the Titled's phones start pinging, and when they open up their LIME app, they receive a simple message:]
Your Mall Map has been updated!
[And indeed, those who go to check the Food Court will find an elevator on the eastern end which leads to a brand new wing that had previously been obscured by the barrier.
Dio and Wake's information is also slightly different from before on the LIME app, but...maybe it's best not to think about it. Last week had been...disheartening.
Hopefully, this week will be better, right? Surely, this week, temptation won't win out again....right?
Well.
There's only one way to find out.
Welcome to Week 2, Titled.
There are thirteen strangers in this place.
This week's crab is Dungeness.]
MONDAY
Slight mod ping for Pagemasters
When she finally leaves the café, it's to go to the gym and pool. There she'll swim a few laps in a nice red bikini. She's got to clear her head, and this, frankly, helps. At the end of the laps, she'll float there on her back and stare at the ceiling.
After that, she'll head to Pagemasters and look around. While there's no history or current events, Croix knows science. And a look at the science accessible in the books here could tell her about what era they might be in, and whether it's more or less advanced than her own. After checking that out, she'll just grab some fiction books and buy them before returning to the café to read. ]

Wait...why's the pool on the second floor?
[Nailed it.]

Today though, she finds herself restless and decides to break her own rules for just a bit of exploration.
Which is how she comes by the pool and subsequently Croix. She's still wearing her hospital gown and still barefoot, obviously. ]
At least they're no longer being stingy about free access to water.

Mod ping for Touch of Fitnesse I guess
[First thing's first, though: she hasn't hit up the chip machines yet, preferring to save this sort of thing up and do it all at once. Which means she's definitely buying a nice, sturdy flashlight from Yotsukoshi with her spare cash. Even if she explores mostly during the day, it's a solid club for self-defense.]
[Second thing is going to be going to Fitnesse and washing up properly oh thank God yes. Sink washing for a week is not acceptable and she'll spend a fair bit of the rest of the morning looking around the area and trying to figure out if anything she can see is controlling or powering the speakers in here. And, okay, doing some barre exercises in the aerobics room. Man it feels good to stretch properly.]
[After lunch, her attention turns to Videax 9000, where she marvels at the collection size. It's almost enough to make cable seem pointless. Almost. Although...]
Wait, what is this? Movies on CD? Or are these like...really small laserdiscs...

Pretty good music though.

Hey. Anyone here know how to fight? Self defense would be good to know.
Could prevent more of us ending up dead.
[ In the earlier part of the day after he'd sent out that message, anyone could find Karma in the Cat Cafe by himself with a rather small cat that he's playing with. Seeming almost amused, but content as he did so. Those who look closely might even find a touch of something almost fond in his expression.
A little later would find him in A Touch of Fitnesse, where he's taken up experimenting with some of the more heavy-looking weight training materials and seeming almost bored. Same with how he doesn't even seem to bat an eye despite the things being fairly heavy-looking.
However he does get restless and it's some time after this that he's wandered over to the pool area, dressed in a pair of deep red and black swim trunks and hopping in to do some swimming. He opts to sink down, lingering close to the edge and waits for someone to walk by before popping out of the water.
All in hopes to scare them, and maybe pull them in because he can. ]

[He's a bit wary of answering this because at the same time, someone learning how to fight could result in another murder.]

[He's not kidding, Britt is rather good at mano-a-mano, can take a lot of corporal damage, and isn't afraid of fighting dirty. It's likely he'd win in a fight against almost everyone here]

[She does owe the girl the dance version of a jam session, but...it's a little harder to be enthusiastic about it now. She'd been hoping that if she struck up a common interest with someone here, this would be the kind of game where nobody has to die, and instead, we're already at 13 and a third percent casualties.]
[So for a moment, she's just going to hang back and try to determine what style of dance LC is practicing.]

After this check round, you can find her at Basic Brown. She spends an unreasonable amount of time just standing in front of the store pulling faces of disgust, but eventually she enters and ... seems to basically grab clothes blind from the cheapest racks. She winds up with one men's T-shirt that is way too large for her, utterly shapeless shorts and a set of socks and underwear each.
It's weird... she doesn't think she's ever had to check her balance for buying money before. She doesn't think she's ever... walked into a store and just grabbed something premade ever since she was maybe 11? Things have always fitted her perfectly, they had all been made for her. Now it's her solace that they don't.
When this conflicting episode is over, Helena makes her way to the showers. Where she... her hospital gown on. Just stands there clothed like always, letting the water run over her. It's the first time she's properly washed herself ever since arrival and whether or not it's proper is... debatable.
For most of the afternoon, Helena is to be found in Pagemasters. She's dressed in her newly acquired outfit that looks like an elaborate potato sack ensemble, her hair is still damp from the earlier shower session. She's seated on the floor, reading, and she'll remain there until late in the evening. ]

Slight mod ping for... minor ransacking?
Flipping through magazines to look for publication dates, the expiration on the medicines, even checking for trademark dates on the videos. Yes, there is definitely a theme to his search.
He looks very subtly perturbed as he does so, too. Like something is bothering him.]
