WEEK 2

[The unfortunate death, and subsequent execution, has no doubt weighed on everyone's minds since. The dam has burst, and now, the idea that someone may kill another in this place is not just a possibility anymore. It is reality, and a very terrifying reality at that.

Yet, there is a strange side effect to the murder's aftermath. When the Titled go to sleep on Saturday evening, they will dream, even if they don't normally do so. When they wake up, their dream stays with them, and a thought comes to everyone. A realization.

Their dream had been a memory they lost. Now, they have it back, as if they had never lost it.

Nor is that the only change. They also feel just a little more confident in their power. Confident enough that they find that their ability has evolved to become stronger. Whether that's a good or a bad thing, well...

Soon enough, too, the Titled's phones start pinging, and when they open up their LIME app, they receive a simple message:]

Your Mall Map has been updated!

[And indeed, those who go to check the Food Court will find an elevator on the eastern end which leads to a brand new wing that had previously been obscured by the barrier.

Dio and Wake's information is also slightly different from before on the LIME app, but...maybe it's best not to think about it. Last week had been...disheartening.

Hopefully, this week will be better, right? Surely, this week, temptation won't win out again....right?

Well.

[Britt arrives at the agreed time, entering and looking rather unconcerned. When he sees who Karma is he sighs between his teeth]

Frankly punching a teen is not how I expected this day to go.

[But hey, he's not going to back down]

Oh yeah?

[ Karma really doesn't look too bothered by that he'd essentially challenged someone older than him to come here to 'hit' him. Rolling his shoulders and wearing quite the smirk on his face. ]

You'll have to actually try and hit me before you get ahead of yourself. I'm not just going to go down as easy as you think I will.

Cocky little bastard...

[But fine! He's all in! He looks around the room, evaluating the situation. It's pretty much empty. Looks like it'll be a good old brawl]

Self-defense is rather simple, you know? Learn to take a hit and fight as dirty as you can. I'm going to avoid the groin kick move, just for you.

[That's not self-defense, Britt, that's just a savage beating.

Since there's nothing else he can do, he chooses the frontal attack. He steps forward slowly a couple times, and sprints. He's not the fastest guy when it's about running, yeah, but he still runs and moves an arm back, telegraphing his intentions. Looks like he was planning to go for a punch to the kidneys]

[ If possible, his smirk grows into a full-on grin at being called that. Never bothered him before, so why should it now?

Though the little comment about avoiding that type of kick just for him earns a soft laugh of amusement before he can stop himself. Karma does appreciate Britt's philosophy with self-defense here, even if he doesn't exactly voice it. ]

Why thank you. That's one less thing to worry about. [ Was that sarcastic? Maybe. ] Thanks for the heads up.

[ His eyes fixed on the older man as he moved, already making to step back and shift his body to the side with very relative ease to avoid the hit. The thing about Karma was that he could move faster than people expected, this precise movement managing to put him a bit closer to Britt and why he had no problems pulling his arm back to aim a punch. One directed for what appeared to be the stomach but just a bit higher; namely the solar plexus.

If the other wanted to play dirty, so would he ♥ ]

[Getting hit in the solax plexus hurts, and Britt is momentarily out of breath, but he took it like a champ, folding a bit over himself without stopping. Not a bad punch, kid.

In response he uses a hand to try to grab Karma by the shoulder, trying to grip to slow him down or even get him to stay put for a second or two, and with the other fist swings upwards, less obviously now, intending to hit him in the gut]

[ Feeling a bit pleased that he'd gotten in that hit, Karma had moved as to avoid another hit in turn but initially hadn't expected that hand that came up to grab him by the shoulder. He instinctively brought up an arm in a last-second attempt to try and deflect that punch, only half-working to soften the blow which still did hurt a little.

Not that he let it show, exhaling a breathy laugh before quickly bringing up a leg aimed to hit Britt on the side of his left leg. Not even remotely holding back his strength in the slightest. ]

[Being hit on a leg while trying to grab your opponent can make a person easily lose their balance. Britt staggers, losing his footing and falling to the floor]

You--

[If he's going to fall then he's going to try to make Karma fall as well, trying to grab him and pulling down with all his weight. It's not going to be a pretty fall for him, maybe he can make it not be a pretty fall for Karma as well]

[ Oh no. Not going to let himself be grabbed a second time.

Just as Britt made to try and grab him, Karma moved back with ease and without a second thought. That first hit on him had been a miscalculation on his part but he wasn't about to let that happen twice, wanting the other to understand this was not going to be an easy venture. ]

For someone who portrays himself as being someone who can 'punch the daylights' out of anyone here, you sure go down quickly.

[ Welcome to sparring with Karma Akabane, Britt. ]

Shut up!

[Like hell he's going to give up just because he's in the floor. Without even getting up, he gets on four and tries to pounce on Karma's legs. Looks like he's really intent in making him fall no matter what, as if his victory depended on it]>/small>
