[The unfortunate death, and subsequent execution, has no doubt weighed on everyone's minds since. The dam has burst, and now, the idea that someone may kill another in this place is not just a possibility anymore. It is reality, and a very terrifying reality at that.
Yet, there is a strange side effect to the murder's aftermath. When the Titled go to sleep on Saturday evening, they will dream, even if they don't normally do so. When they wake up, their dream stays with them, and a thought comes to everyone. A realization.
Their dream had been a memory they lost. Now, they have it back, as if they had never lost it.
Nor is that the only change. They also feel just a little more confident in their power. Confident enough that they find that their ability has evolved to become stronger. Whether that's a good or a bad thing, well...
Soon enough, too, the Titled's phones start pinging, and when they open up their LIME app, they receive a simple message:]
Your Mall Map has been updated!
[And indeed, those who go to check the Food Court will find an elevator on the eastern end which leads to a brand new wing that had previously been obscured by the barrier.
Dio and Wake's information is also slightly different from before on the LIME app, but...maybe it's best not to think about it. Last week had been...disheartening.
Hopefully, this week will be better, right? Surely, this week, temptation won't win out again....right?
Well.
There's only one way to find out.
Welcome to Week 2, Titled.
There are thirteen strangers in this place.
This week's crab is Dungeness.]

To the Titled,
By the time this letter is revealed, I must have won my game of wits with what's left of you, if you can even call it that. You may wonder why I would even write to a group of people who are about to die. It would be weird even for someone who was the type to get sentimental over a few corpses, and that's not me at all! I suppose I only have my unusual life to blame for an occasional inclination towards pseudo-scientific reasoning. It was novel that I couldn't see last week's deaths coming in advance. It's such a thrill that I want to indulge in more novelties... for example, the last case was enough for me to deduce the identity and motives of our fabricator, and now I will save them. It will be the first time a person like me can truly claim to have done that. I was probably capable of "love" and "courage" before, but now I can really know what "hope" is like.... It's too late for a criminal, of course. That's not the reason I kill. It's more like I don't need a reason, because killing is normal to me, so it's always ready as a tool. Right now, my purpose is waiting for me Beyond these walls, and it's as simple as that.
But that was an unnecessary tangent. The truth is, I'm writing to you because a hunch of mine may be right, and I won't be sticking around long enough to see if it is or not. But if you still have eyes that can see, then you can become my new eyes and hands in whatever world you've gone to. (And this also applies to the “little birds” that left us last week, just in case.) In exchange, I'll give you a hint I discovered: الكذب ملوش رجلين It is a common phrase in Arabic, literally “Lying has no legs,” that expresses a meaning like "The truth always comes out." El Kidb Maloosh Reglein. Ironic that I’d tell you now of all times, but possibly you'll figure out the correct way to use it. But enough of this, it's time for me to get going.... to break through the mirror once and for all.

Yes I'm up for threadjacking on this one especially.

Is something wrong, Meridies-san?

...I found this in what I was reading. It's a bit concerning.

This reads as if it was written by someone who has survived at least two trials before attempting to invoke rule 7 themselves. It also almost seems as if it was left with the intent to be discovered by the ghosts of the executed...unless the writer has a strange way of expressing doubt that they really would be put to death.

I would also like some other perspectives on what the letter itself means. It sounds as if the writer believes that execution isn't the end for those trapped here...
