[The unfortunate death, and subsequent execution, has no doubt weighed on everyone's minds since. The dam has burst, and now, the idea that someone may kill another in this place is not just a possibility anymore. It is reality, and a very terrifying reality at that.
Yet, there is a strange side effect to the murder's aftermath. When the Titled go to sleep on Saturday evening, they will dream, even if they don't normally do so. When they wake up, their dream stays with them, and a thought comes to everyone. A realization.
Their dream had been a memory they lost. Now, they have it back, as if they had never lost it.
Nor is that the only change. They also feel just a little more confident in their power. Confident enough that they find that their ability has evolved to become stronger. Whether that's a good or a bad thing, well...
Soon enough, too, the Titled's phones start pinging, and when they open up their LIME app, they receive a simple message:]
Your Mall Map has been updated!
[And indeed, those who go to check the Food Court will find an elevator on the eastern end which leads to a brand new wing that had previously been obscured by the barrier.
Dio and Wake's information is also slightly different from before on the LIME app, but...maybe it's best not to think about it. Last week had been...disheartening.
Hopefully, this week will be better, right? Surely, this week, temptation won't win out again....right?

His eyebrows tense and he quickly turns his head to look over at her. It's as his expression quickly softens, he nods. ]
Yeah... it's my favorite place.
[ Akira's quiet for a moment, eyes shifting to the cat sleeping on him. ]
It reminds me a little of home.
[ He's looking over to her. ]

[ Ah, it takes her a moment but she looks over to him. Honestly she looks about as much as you would expect, losing Wake really hasn't been kind to her at all. But for the moment, she's not crying so small blessings. ]
I don't think I've ever been this sad before.

Back home, my favorite place was the rooftop of my school. That was one of the first places I hung out with my best friend. So, I guess the open sky part... makes the two of us.
[ After that, he's staring down at his hands. ]
...
[ Seeing actual death... feeling this weight of guilt... Though, he can't imagine the way she must be feeling. ]
... I'm sad, too...
[ He can't offer any words that could possibly make any of this better... ]
Would you be okay with walking with me?

[ If she could see it now, maybe she would feel a bit better. She doesn't know what to do with the empathy Akira offers, but she does nod a little. ]
OK. Where are we going to go?

[ It's said just above a whisper, but his tone is filled with a determination that's never been... quite this strong. ]
Is there anyone you haven't been able to see yet?
[ He's moving to stand, slowly. Slowly, because the cat is biting down on his finger. Clearly the battle against her bed is important to her. ]
I don't mind going there first, otherwise... it's more that I--
[ For some reason? He feels like saying the truth to this extent is something that... is important, here. It's not said with a sad tone, or anything. Just in an incredibly honest voice. ]

I don't like being alone either, it reminds me of the lab. But I like talking with you, you're a good person Akira. [ Gently, she tries to coax one of the kittens to follow her as she stands. ]
I am kind of hungry...
whispers no this hurts as much as i knew it would.........
It's one that most of the kittens around here seem to like most -- feathers, just a tiny bit noisy because of small bells... ]
Here... for you. [ It's wrapped up since it's actually pretty long... ] You can use this whenever you're in here and I'm not around. That one over there really likes it...
[ He points towards one of the seemingly most energetic kittens. ]
How about we come spend more time with these guys after we're done?
