WEEK 1
[Well, this is...happening. This is a thing. This is your life now. The Commander is expecting you to just up and kill one another, and then try to get away with it. No big deal, right? You guys can handle this. You won't fall for what she has. She's clearly an idiot. A loud idiot, but still an idiot. She's not going to get one over you.
...Right?
In any case, the Commander's quarters are now open for anyone who decides they can actually stand to be in the same room as her, but beware - any favor you might ask of her is going to come at a price, and who knows what she'll ask you to do if you decide to gain a boon from her. Unless you're a suck-up like Baku - then she'll apparently be flattered. Maybe that's a good tactic to use?
Whatever you do, try not to murder the bread again. The Bread Did Nothing Wrong.
There are fifteen strangers in this place.]

[ He gives a small, thoughtful frown at the mention of leaving nothing out. ]
By "leave nothing out" I assume you're not asking for things like... family history and things that would have us here all day. [ a sigh ] Either way, that's asking a lot, considering everyone here has gaps in their memories, as far as I've heard...
[ Geez, Akira, you almost make it sound like you're against something called Opening Up A Little. ]

I would not mind learning about everyone's families. The bonds of blood are profound... It may even be quite important to know one's next of kin. [This is just a dark joke but his face doesn't even move.]
However, I admit I was referring more to occupation and ability than anything. The profiles only detail our new powers and physical features.
no subject
[ Akira....... ]
That's actually pretty fair, though the abilities we're left with are already listed, right? Unless you mean something along the lines of... lockpicking and hand-to-hand fighting skills?
[ But after a short pause: ]
My main occupation involved being a simple high school student. On the side, I had a few part-time jobs. I was a florist, convenience store worker, bartender, and a cook for a beef bowl shop. Then, whenever I had the time, I was a barista at the cafe I lived in the attic of.
[ After a beat: ]
Also I was the leader of a group of Phantom Thieves.
no subject
Can you not come up with a better lie?
[But he'll listen to the rest. Lockpicking and hand-to-hand sound like they're on track so he'll get a 'Right' uttered at him, but the rest of this might as well be speaking in tongues for half of it.]
Is a 'part time job' what you call an apprenticeship? ...And how is it that you are a phantom thief? That is a spellcaster from the other world.
no subject
Sometimes.
[ There's a nod at the first question, though. But there's a... blink after that? At the next part. ]
Well... I am from a place called Earth, and there are people here who aren't from that planet. Either way, I did travel to a place that could be considered another world entirely, when doing Phantom Thief work.

But I am willing to answer any other questions.

[ He says this flatly. ]
I have no family. I remember that perfectly clearly. There would be little need for such things in my... "line of work", as you might say. ... I don't know what other people might think, but...

[As cool as all of this stuff is that still seems preferable to him, and the goal that they should be focus on. But given how things run here, knowing computers may be necessary to escape in the first place, so.]

But where is this place that you live? I was championing a cause for the House of York and it is a major city, but I wasn't aware that there was a new one.
no subject
That's because your nation colonized the Americas? We have a lot of places named after those cities. Like New Jersey. You have "Jersey", right?

Family... you talk as if all of us have such things to speak of. Did it ever occur to you that some might not, or that the circumstances around that absence could be personal?

[His voice is low, and rough, almost that of a man wounded.]
So I usually have a witch at my back, my best friend. Usually use a whip to fight, but I didn't see any in the armory here so I went with the knife. My father's dead... my mother's a doctor, and there's some family friends in England who would care if I died. What else do you need to know?
no subject
...I hope you don't think me a monster. A demon, yes, but... I eat nightmares. If anything I'm beneficial.
