[A week has passed. There's been no body, no investigation, no trial. No deaths. Congratulations!

Now the question is, will it last? At the moment, the Commander seems content with forcing people to do petty and mean-spirited errands in return for a mere shower. On the one hand, it's just for showers. On the other hand, what if the demands start to get more extreme? Would caving in encourage her? Is anyone willing to try and find out?

Honesty, with all the strange dates and information floating around from what's been uncovered, the only one in this place who's probably not worried as the time slips into its next movement is Sir Riprazor McRockfang. That's right, he's a sir. A grumpy sir, yes, but still a sir. No one's going to mess with him, regardless of what his true origins may be. And if they do, beware - he bites. Omnom. [The week is ticking by quickly and no one has made a move yet. Judging by the reactions of some people, the Commander's potential pool of killers isn't what she thinks it is. Either this is the wrong motivation, people don't believe it's possible, or... Yurick's too tired to think of more possibilities.

He's been spending his days reading in the library, occasionally mixing things up by tinkering with the computers or the kitchen, tired of feeling ignorant in the face of this "technology" thing. There's even been a couple of days where he's avoided everyone, even if it means tucking himself into the most obscure and tiny corners. It's not like he needs friends here.

Later today, though, he ends up in the theater, trying to figure out how the video machine works. He won't admit it out loud, but he's curious about these moving images. Who knows, there could be clues hidden in them?]

[Someone else is in the computer room, because of course he is. He always is. He looks up at Yurick... he hasn't said anything for a bit, but...]

What are you working on?

I'm not working on anything, really. I'm trying to learn these blasted things. We've nothing like this where I'm from.

[Considering he's back in his normal clothes (thank you, Akira), he's wearing leather and even some armored pieces. Which... probably shows he's from a more medieval/fantasy setting rather than anything approaching modern.]

[Thursday night, there is... a sound.]

[A sound possibly straight from hell, depending on your musical preferences - because in the evening, a 'song' starts playing on the computers.]

[Nearly every computer, including some in the rooms, is blasting that at full volume. The entire song. There is no discernible way to turn it off, nor is it very clear what caused it. But the entire song will play, all six minutes of it.]

[ Guess who was playing with the tape machine? If you guessed C, you guessed correctly. Most of the things he gets out of it are innocent, but when the wheel of cheese and the... other... worm-things come out, he practically loses it, letting out a whine of distress and edging back.

The last thing to fall out is a bottle of pills, which he'll reach for in a moment to see what it is. He's not okay. Someone help him get rid of the gross cheese and worms. You might get something out of it! ]

At least they didn't burn down the kitchen but you can probably smell the fail from a good distance.

[Wind would be better at this, probably, if he were here. He'd been somewhere around fifty when he died, he probably knew how to reassure people and soothe fresh grief. Jonathan sighs again, and looks over at Nagisa.]

I'm sorry. That was too harsh. And I don't mean you can't wish you'd been able to save her, I definitely don't. But... the worst part of being human is that we don't have the power to put right the past. I wish we did.

[He pauses, looking down at the picture, trying to find some way to bring up happier memories than a violent death.]

She was someone really, really special, wasn't she... stupid question, they wouldn't have done this if she wasn't. You okay enough to tell me about her?
