[A week has passed. There's been no body, no investigation, no trial. No deaths. Congratulations!

Now the question is, will it last? At the moment, the Commander seems content with forcing people to do petty and mean-spirited errands in return for a mere shower. On the one hand, it's just for showers. On the other hand, what if the demands start to get more extreme? Would caving in encourage her? Is anyone willing to try and find out?

Honesty, with all the strange dates and information floating around from what's been uncovered, the only one in this place who's probably not worried as the time slips into its next movement is Sir Riprazor McRockfang. That's right, he's a sir. A grumpy sir, yes, but still a sir. No one's going to mess with him, regardless of what his true origins may be. And if they do, beware - he bites. Omnom. [Earlier today Vita put up some more notices that she'll be singing a few songs to honor the loved ones they have lost and parted from. It will most definitely be set after the shittyflute concert. Again, it will be in the theater. She'll also leave a note specifically for Jonathan saying that she was able to find one of the songs he requested. His note is also signed with a cute heart at the end.

Vita is actually dressed up quite nicely since she was able to obtain one of her dresses. Also, she's set up a memorial that has room for people to contribute to if they wish. It also even has a smaller section for defacing hated ones and she has included a very poorly drawn doodle of two men with Xs over them in that section. In the memorial, she's included the picture she was given at the motive

She'll perform two songs. One is from her world and the second she'll say was a special request.

Afterwards, she's available to talk. Later on she'll move the memorial to the mess hall.]

[Barbara saw that little concert earlier but hadn't really wanted to interrupt at the time. So instead she waits and goes into the mess hall not long after Vita, a nice photo in her hand.]

Any chance I could put one on there? The memorial, I mean.

Go right ahead. I made it for all of us to show we don't care about her threats. [Vita is smiling and says all this in a kind tone since she knows that motive dredged up unpleasant memories.]

[Though she does it hesitantly, she puts the picture on. She takes a shaky breath as she sits back down.]

The worst part is that I don't know if it's true or not.

She's claiming to have some rather amazing powers, that's for sure. Control over souls tends to be the realm of the Goddess herself, not a bottle of vinegar like her.

Not that. I know she's probably lying about that.

I-I mean that...I don't know if they're really dead or not.

[She's so close to crying. She feels bad for putting these emotions onto a stranger, but this entire situation is just taxing and the urge to make her family safe is just painful at this point.]

If she isn't, then may the Goddess protect them all from harm and find you a way home to them.

[A memorial, huh... Rosenkreuz hadn't been thinking much about his own picture, since as far as he knew, the Rose Duelist wasn't dead. But seeing the solemn display does make him wonder again. Many people were missing memories, after all... and so far, he's had nothing come up at all to make him realize what he's forgotten.

He stares at the display for a few moments, contemplating this, before deciding to add his picture.]

Rose Duelist. May my memories be sound, and may you live a long life.

[Or else he's gonna be pissed that he has to start all over again.]

I hope they will too. Thank you for coming again to my way of showing the commander is, as my friend would put it "full of shit".

[Hey, sometimes Crow's crass way of putting things is just the best way to describe her feelings.]

[I mean what else do they have to do here, anyway, but he says it smoothly. Speaking of her friend, though, he'll look at her picture.]

Such a young man to have already passed. Was he a soldier?

[At least he assumes hers is deceased since she went to the trouble of setting it up like a memorial regardless.]

I'd say he was more like a knight. He was known as the Azure Chevalier and he fell in battle protecting us from a terrible calamity... that I cannot even seem to remember how it came about.

[He blinks at that. Azure Chevalier? That's a grand title, similar to Rose Duelist. Then again, Vita had one too. Interesting.]

Knights have come to look very different, I see... But if he was the Azure Chevalier, and you the Azure Diva, did that mean he worked under you, or is it mere coincidence?

[But he's only assuming her place is higher than him because of age, really.]

It would be more appropriate to say I was his guide. One of my standing knows many people of influence who can aid in attaining a dream. I'm sure the commander picked him because it's such a recent loss and the war is still fresh in my memory.

[The note is, once he's read it, hidden under his pillow. A childish gesture, maybe, and there was definitely something that made him feel like a silly kid the way that signature set him blushing, but...

She actually found it. She found it, and learned it, and God, if he could still cry Jonathan is almost certain he would be crying. The wistful ache is there, but so is something else... he can't quite name it, but Vita undoubtedly made that song her own.]

True, but I'm glad I found the one. It's a lovely song and I'm glad to have learned something of you and your world. I can see why you love it so much.

Thanks, I... I'm glad too. I know it's bittersweet, but... it's a song that means a lot, for a lot of reasons. Vita, seriously, thank you.

No, it's fine. I think something bittersweet or sad is far more fitting right now. I mean, someone is bound to take her up on that threat. It wasn't just to revive our loved ones, it was also a threat to their very souls.

[Naoya laughs as he sees the memorial, and comes back after a few minutes.]

[He already got rid of his picture, but there's a crude doodle of the same woman that he sets up and scribbles all over.]

[Another crude doodle to add to her own. She smiles because she can understand that even venting dislike can be cathartic and she didn't want to leave out those who received pictures of people they hated. The only reason she didn't get one like that was because her hated people still live.]

Heh. Of course it will. I have a battle with her when I get home. And a few other people... but it will be good to get to crush her.

A good cause then. Free will is definitely very important. What about her, though? Is she doomed or can she be saved if the angel is dealt with?
