[The week begins as last week began. But there's is a great difference-murder. It has happened. Blood has been drawn; it cannot be undone. The Game has made itself known. The Game is paramount. The Game simply is.

As morning dawns, those who were not present with the DEAD lock will find that the doors that were locked are now gone-and a whole new area has finally opened up to them. They will also find that they remember something they had not been able to recall beforehand. The question is, was it worth it?

And-is it you, or is the ship getting...colder as the hours go by? No, it's not just you. By the end of Sunday, the ship has started to dip into freezing temperatures. It might be difficult for people to bundle up-unless you're Brain, who will find his closet inundated with winter clothing that fit him perfectly.

Yup. This is going to be a long week, as if last week wasn't bad enough.

[Well, it's that other time of the week. The side experiment.

And as people are trying to process the threat hanging over their loved ones' heads, Zero's voice once more emanates through the ship. He once more sounds bemused.]

I see many of you are worried-that you cannot take care of those you love. Perhaps I can...help alleviate your loneliness.

In each of your bunks, you will find a doll, specifically designated for you. Take care of it. Pretend they are as real as you or I. Give it the love and warmth you cannot give to those you're fearful for. And remember: those who do not participate will see repercussions.

Rules:
A wide variety of doll clothes are on the tables in the mess hall. Once you've chosen your collection, you can do a variety of things.

*Bathe Doll: 1 point
*Feed Doll: 1 point
*Dress Doll: 1 point
*Give the doll a voice: 1 point
*Have a playdate: 2 points
*Ruin a playdate: -2 points
*Harm your own doll: -3 points
Harm someone else's doll: -5 points

A playdate can be done more than once, but only once with each other doll. A playdate involves pantomiming the act of playing together with the dolls. You must make them walk, talk, and interact together!

[When Makima first takes her doll, she runs her fingertips over the chest of a young man who has some kind of pull-cord, like for a chainsaw, embedded in his sternum.]

Just so you know, I don't plan on losing.

[She sets off at a brisk pace. Within ten minutes, Makima has set up a little camp by taking a table from the tea room out into the C Deck hallway and sitting underneath it. Because otherwise Grimace shakes might fall down onto her head. She has a bowl of water, a dish of crackers split into quarters, and a washcloth from the spa. "Chainsaw Man" is now decked out in a large red piece over the head, a pair of chainsaw sleeves, and the public safety uniform. She has a second outfit of a T-shirt and jeans on the side. That's also pretty similar to the clothes Makima wore during her recovery from the first minigame, now that she thinks about it.]

It's kind of like a blanket fort, isn't it?

[Unlike literally everyone else, Zack's doll is blank. Luckily, Zaro was kind enough to provide some felt markers so Zack could color in whoever he wanted as the face.

So he...he tries. It looks more like a human Mimikyu than a real person. The purple eyes and the dark hair are scribbled to the point where the ink is clearly running out. Nevertheless, Zack is proud of his doll...and whatever it's supposed to represent.

It's probably a girl, judging by the way Zack tries to do a high-pitched voice when he approaches with the doll, dressed in something adorable.]

[Hubert picks up his own doll, though he largely ignores the supplies that go with her. Instead he just carries her around looking... a little lost, honestly.

Of course he knows how to play with a doll. He was his Lady's constant playmate when she was the age such a toy was meant for. But... doing so just feels ghoulish in a way he can't enjoy. He knows he'll have to mime SOMETHING by the end, but for now he's just... here. ]

[ It was certainly a very unusual minigame but hey! Roland is absolutely here for this.

He first went to fetch the little doll of his own and made to waste no time in carefully carrying the little guy all the way to the Mess Hall where he discovered the pile of clothes. Collecting what he believed would work, he was practically beaming as he strode down the hallway and within five minutes emerged from the bathroom with a very nicely dressed young man.

The doll’s hair looks a bit damp, though he’s combed through it with his fingers to make it presentable. ]

Have no fear, Vanitas! You look wonderful as always! [ A laugh follows that, holding the doll close to his chest. ] I know you don’t like people much but let’s go find you some friends!

[ Spotting someone, he waved his free hand at them. ]

I’d like to give Vanitas some friends but i’m afraid i’m not sure how i’m supposed to ‘play’ that out. Can you help me?

[Kira is not keen on receiving another punishment so he has been dreading this a bit, but the actual content makes him sigh in relief. He just has to play house with his oddball wife. What else is new, really?

So he has put her in a little dress and is systematically feeding her individual grapes and little cheese cubes from a tray he prepared.]

They made it so easy....

[He almost sounds disappointed about that. Like, he doesn't want to win, but hello? At least he could call this day a peaceful one, if he ignores the stupid milkshakes.]

[Akane still doesn't even know who the person in her photograph is, but she's also not about the punishment lyfe based on what those have been so far, so she takes the her doll, who has brown hair, brown eyes, and a vaguely worried expression to the hall, dresses him in a random assortment of clashing items that somehow feels appropriate, and then sits down by the wall and studies him, trying out different names.]

Hm. Alex? Or... Matthew? No... Jasper? Michael?

[Squint...]

Maybe something Japanese...?

[Kaito has put his doll - Maki Harukawa at a table in the tea room. She has a Grimace shake in front of her, and periodically, Kaito will turn the straw towards her to simulate her taking a sip.]

It's a pretty good day, right?

[If he thinks about this too hard, he'll get sad. God, this feels lonely and sad. He's playing with a doll of one of his closest friends.]

I'm sorry. For everything.

[The room is empty, so he's not quite sure why he said that in Maki's voice - apart from the fact that he can imagine her saying that.]

...It's fine. You know I'd never be mad at you.

[That's probably the worst part of it to her, he thinks. But he doesn't vocalize that. Just as well since someone has walked in. He gives his new companion a friendly nod.]

[And, as the time ends, Zero's voice speaks. He sounds...intrigued. Hm.]

Ah, Mr. Prince. So close, and yet as always, so far away.

Ms. Makima, congratulations. It seems you went above and beyond for your friend, and as such, you should be rewarded properly. You may ask me one question, and I am beholden to answer truthfully.

As for everyone else....well. One of you did not participate at all, and as I always say, you have been warned. You punishment will begin when this announcement ends.

Oh, and Mr. Alastor? Check your bunk. I prepared a...surprise for you. As a reminder of your performance.

[And just like that, Aoi will find himself...doll-sized in a flash of light. Well, surely it's better than being forced to tell the truth, right?...

Though, maybe Alastor might want to trade places with Aoi, because while he isn't punished, he is given, uh. Something special. When he checks his bunk, he will find a life-sized doll of his rival on there, wearing this t-shirt. And when we mean life-sized, we mean it's about 6 feet tall.
