I'm hoping that even regular criminals aren't stupid enough to try to murder when we're not even sure they'll deliver.

Especially when we don't know what their intentions are.

Perhaps a bit. I'm trying not to, however. Money for the sake of money is a disgusting motive for murder, but my mother was in the hospital last year. It was within our means, but not everyone is so fortunate.

Not definitively. Someone in such a situation may have the strength of will to refuse and reveal their situation. But I'm sorry to say that yes, it's more likely that we will discover by someone taking the bait.

I can think of a few things that would probably tempt more than a handful of people, but I don't know whether to be grateful or not that they're not going for the jugular right away.
