WEEK 3

[Once everyone has gotten out of the elevator, those who go to look for Akira and Kurama will find that they have been put into one of their rooms, together, safely tucked into bed with a glass of milk for each of them. And - aside from the bruises of being suctioned into a death cylinder and tranquilized with some very strong drugs - they are alive and unharmed.

Naturally, this means that Akira and Kurama are the first to experience the dreams, but everyone will experience them, once they finally fall asleep, for good and ill.

Despite everything, too, the survivors will find many other new things facing them as they wake up. A new evolution for their powers, a new wing...and a new rule, updated after the execution. The profiles have also been updated, to reflect the Titled's ever-dwindling numbers.

This is going to be a long week, that's for sure.

preparations

[ Early in the day, Akira is going around asking various people their thoughts on what they believe the lost members of their group might like -- did they remember anything they particularly liked (favorite drink, colors, etc)?

He might even shoot a question to someone he recalls having been close to one of the people... but either way... ]

the ceremony

[ After setting out various items on the place where everyone fell, he will be heading up to the roof.

Wake gets a white, stuffed dove and a bouquet.

Torri gets a white, stuffed dove (it does, in fact, match the one Wake got) along with a bouquet.

Yuuri gets a white, stuffed dog along with a bouquet.

Helena gets a white, stuffed mouse and a bouquet of the closest thing he could find to English daisies (fight on, fellow rebel heart).

All bouquets are made with the help of Kurama. Everyone else's input will have been taken into account on these for any other items.

Up top, there's going to be a bouquet resting on the spots for both Dio and Goro. Dio gets a black, stuffed cat and Goro gets a black, stuffed crow.

Again, there's room for other things. People are welcoming to give some kind of speech for the dead, if they want. Akira won't be saying anything, but he'll sit and listen as long as he can... ]

[ With all that said and done, he'll be sitting in the food court, staring down at a cup of coffee...

Not drinking it, but... baby steps. ]

Ceremony

[Most people who have seen Britt going aroun may have noticed he has looked like something bothers him. No surprise there -- what Akechi said did fill him with guilt, and while what Kurama had said had helped, he still felt guilty.

Maybe he's going to the ceremony to make amends? Well, who knows. He's there. Britt steps ahead and clears his throat, talking ungracefully]

Uh...so, these guys died, and that was very bad. They--they will be missed.

[...shit, this is going nowhere fast. Britt takes out a few flash cards. Did he write those in advance?]

We will miss them, because if we didn't, then we'd forget them, and the dead, they--they wouldn't want that. [He narrows his eyes at the cards. What was he thinking when he wrote all this drivel?] So let's not forget them. We may have a weird ouija mystical machine up in the other floor, but that doesn't mean they're alive, so...let's keep living. For them. And for us too.

[Yeah, he's going to a side of the ceremony as fast as he can. He's embarrassed. But hey, he tried and that's what matters]

Britt...that was actually the nicest thing I've ever heard someone say at a funeral.

[She doesn't actually remember her mother's funeral and we can absolutely guarantee that's a blessing.]

[ That-... that was such a huge effort; Akira's actually going to give a small smile. He slowly moves over to the older man. He looks drained, and clearly poured a lot of his own effort into this, to the point where he will probably just sleep super early after everything...

Anyway...

The smile isn't there, but it's clear that meant a lot. ]

Ceremony & Wake

Ceremony

[ She'd helped buy things for the wake later. But the biggest thing she's going to do is take a very odd-looking plastic rod and place it as central as she can. It's the least she can do. And then she'll kind of quietly stand off to the side. ]

Wake

[ After the ceremony, she'll keep herself busy. She's bought and made a lot of food, just to have something to do. She needs to keep going. She needs to. ]

Goro, Helena, everyone...

[ She's clutching some forget-me-nots. ]

I'm sorry. I should have tried harder. I should have done more, for all of you. Helena, you were right. I wasn't doing enough. But I'm not going to be complacent anymore. We're going to get out of here. And no one else is going to have to kill anyone else.

[ She sets the bouquet down. ]

I swear by the Nine Olde Witches, if I can find a way to bring you all back... I will.

[ After that, she just... lingers, looking particularly sad at Akechi and Helena's things, though her eyes linger on Yuuri's as well. ]

[Well, there've been some people who haven't said anything, so. Coco will try, in her own way.]

Soooo.... The Feeling was, like, seriously so nice to me and everyone else. Even the man who, like, killed him. It is totes super sad that you guys can't, like, see him anymore. He and the Bliss were like, so cute together. I know you guys are totally tryin' so here's hoping you don't have to miss em' forever.

Also, Nastacious? Both of them, like.... totally determined people. So like. Even if Nasty totally tried to like, kill me, I get it! I'm not, like, mad at her. Also, they totally hate my Bosses, but... they were not invisible to them. None of you are...

[She sighs.]

...That's all, I guess.

Ceremony

[Joey, eventually, stands up, nervous less at being in front of people and more at the formality of the situation.]

I...okay, if I screw up, Britt put me up to this.

And...I don't have a lot to say with the usual funeral stuff. I've known you guys for a couple of weeks, and you're all already...well, I already like all of you better than almost anyone else in the world. But I don't have to go summarizing why everyone was awesome, because...

[When you think about it...]

...if there's ghosts hanging around, I can just talk to them.

Hey guys. We're. Getting out of here. We're going to figure everything out, break the heads of whoever's in charge here, and leave. All fifteen of us. I don't know how that's possible, but that's just because I don't know everything. I swear it'll happen.

[She doesn't know how to wrap up from there, so she'll just...sit down, red-faced.]

[Joey spends a chunk of the middle of the day attending the funeral and another bit with that luigi board game, but aside from that...]

[Earlier in the morning, she can be found at Touch of Fitnesse, practicing a dance routine and generally trying to work her stress from yesterday out with exercise. It's not really working, but it sure is getting her blood flowing.]

[After the funeral, if she can find a partner to tag along with, she'll explore the new 3E in general, a bit disappointed that it's just more shops, and not any she's particularly interested in. Maybe Mystery Maze Mania, but she's definitely not going into the obvious deathtrap without a partner.]

[Finally, in the evening, Joey can be found in the Food Court, staring intently at a Mr. Mew doll she bought on Monday.]

Okay...I'm "the Impossible", huh? Going to just...Frankenstein myself up a cat here. Well, you weren't alive in the first place, so it's more...Pygmalion-ing myself up a cat?

[She sighs, and carefully sets her phone up against a cup so it can record the proceedings. There's no way in heck her babysitter would ever forgive her for not recording an experiment like this.]

Here goes nothing.

[She holds the doll, closes her eyes, and imagines it coming to life. You can do anything with enough Imagination...]

Mr. Mew

[And, indeed, Joey has enough Imagination.

There is a second of warmth, followed by....something poking her. When she opens her eyes, well...

A very much moving Mr. Mew is in front of her, staring at her.]

[ So... guess who is here about dance and hoping to find Joey, and very happy she did? After all the sad... they need this. ]

[ After everything with the funeral, Croix will decide it's time to explore the new area. She'll start by scouring the smoke shop. There has to be information here somewhere. There has to be. Following that, she'll be looking through the salon and then the restaurant before stopping in front of the maze. She looks determined, but she also doesn't want to. Tackle it on her own. ]

[ Well, first of all, anything obvious out of place/eye-catching? ]

Maze

[Someone else has noticed the Maze and has surprisingly parallel thoughts. On the one hand, puzzle. On the other hand, kind of on-the-nose for their present situation.]

So uh...you think there might be some kind of clues in the maze place? Logically, that's where I'd expect them...

[ Guess who else noticed the maze and found it suspicious? Your local teacher. She brought one of the kits her and Croix made, too. ]

Oh, Joey, hello. I was thinking of exploring this place too, did you want to come with us?

Everyone, meet at the Netfugee Cafe. It's important. I'll explain when everyone is here.

It helps he isn't exactly far away, but it doesn't take him long to get there with Karma being (willingly, we hope???) dragged along. ]

AFTER EMERGENCY MEETING - MOD PING

[Kurama is going to visit Cafe MYJL first and order a hot chocolate. Coffee and tea having both been ruined...

During the time when that should be being made? He's going to try snapping a wide-angle picture of the preparation areas.

He's also going to search the cafe in general for anything that seems odd or otherwise like it could be a clue or a message.]
