WEEK 3

[Once everyone has gotten out of the elevator, those who go to look for Akira and Kurama will find that they have been put into one of their rooms, together, safely tucked into bed with a glass of milk for each of them. And - aside from the bruises of being suctioned into a death cylinder and tranquilized with some very strong drugs - they are alive and unharmed.

Naturally, this means that Akira and Kurama are the first to experience the dreams, but everyone will experience them, once they finally fall asleep, for good and ill.

Despite everything, too, the survivors will find many other new things facing them as they wake up. A new evolution for their powers, a new wing...and a new rule, updated after the execution. The profiles have also been updated, to reflect the Titled's ever-dwindling numbers.

This is going to be a long week, that's for sure.

[ After everything with the funeral, Croix will decide it's time to explore the new area. She'll start by scouring the smoke shop. There has to be information here somewhere. There has to be. Following that, she'll be looking through the salon and then the restaurant before stopping in front of the maze. She looks determined, but she also doesn't want to. Tackle it on her own. ]

Smoke shop

[Never took you to be a smoker, Croix.

Anything in particular you want to look at/for?]

[ Well, first of all, anything obvious out of place/eye-catching? ]

[Probably the biggest thing is that there is some pipe tobacco that is completely out of stock.]

Strange...

[ Going to take a pic of that. Anything else missing like that? Ren doesn't seem the type to use pipe tobacco, after all. ]

[Nope! That's it.]

[ Okay, before she leaves she's going to feel along the walls and look behind displays for anything else that's not as obvious. Like hidden doors or trinkets or whatever. She's trying to be thorough! ]

[That's fair! There sadly isn't any. It's just a smoke shop.]

[ Okay then she's done here. Maybe time to move on? She wants to get information after settling down from Helena's death. She made a promise! To Helena! ]

I won't let you gift to us go to waste.

[ So. Same thing in the salon. Starting with anything obvious being off. ]

[Nothing obvious is of, sadly. In fact, there doesn't seem to be anything of interest in the salon. Sorry, Croix.]

[ All right, then. Once she's done there, time to move on to the restaurant. Same cycle as before. ]

Maze

[Someone else has noticed the Maze and has surprisingly parallel thoughts. On the one hand, puzzle. On the other hand, kind of on-the-nose for their present situation.]

So uh...you think there might be some kind of clues in the maze place? Logically, that's where I'd expect them...

[ Guess who else noticed the maze and found it suspicious? Your local teacher. She brought one of the kits her and Croix made, too. ]

Oh, Joey, hello. I was thinking of exploring this place too, did you want to come with us?

But yeah, Mystery Maze Mania! Can you solve the escape room and save the world!??]

[ They can sure try! ]

Well, maybe between the three of us, we can do it.

[ She is. Still shaken up. ]

[Well, the cardboard stand up skeleton in the entrance believes in you!

NYEH-HEH-HEH! GOOD LUCK!! is even in a word bubble. Though why they used that font is...weird.]

[ ... Why does Ursula feel vaguely happy about this encouraging skeleton? Anyway, she's sure they'll have no trouble, so in they go. ]

I don't doubt it. We're all pretty smart.

I don't know whether to give that skeleton a hug or a noogie, but either way he's the least scary monster I've ever seen.

[Flashlight out, time for business.]

OKAY what are they doing. ]

[After everyone pays to get in, and they get in, the door closes behind them, and they are plunged into medieval murk of gold and stone.

They are in a room with sixteen doors, and a staircase blocked off by a puzzle... and a floor covered in A MAAAAZE OF BEEEEAR TRAAAAAPS!!

...which you can easily sidestep, though there is a card sticking out of one them...]

Okay, this is awful. Also kind of a weird way to start a maze. Any ideas on how to safely get that card?

[ Making the least impressed face. Is there anything else in the room they could use to grab said card? ]

... Did anyone bring a stick or something? I only have my flashlight and dagger, so... I don't know.

Hm... Ursula, if you could set it off with your power, maybe we could grab it then?
